My daughter received this for Easter and took care of it diligently. On day three, with full happiness, discipline, and food meters, the creature got sick and started beeping. None of the buttons would respond to touch in order to give the creature medicine, so it died (angel wings and stars). We had to hold down buttons A and C to reset it. Highly disappointing, but we're hoping the next creature lives longer and we aren't forced into having it die again from no fault of our own. That was really unfair. ... show more

I am disappointed.. I purchased the rainbow gradient one. The front is painted with the rainbow color, but the back is white. The screen is very dim, too. I remember I was able to name my pet, feed them different types of meals/snacks, and play different games with tamagotchi I had in the past. This one, however, you cannot. Bought for my 5yo, mostly for my own nostalgia. She likes it okay but doesn't pay enough attention to it for it to live longer than a day or two at a time, but that's too be expected with her age.
