We could not be happier with this convertible loveseat. We assembled it 2 days ago which was fairly quick and painless (1 hour 1 person). The ends adjust in 3 positions simply by pulling up on the end wood piece and moving it up or down. The wood pieces rest on thick heavy duty screws. The fabric is very thick and also seems heavy duty. The cushions are also thick which I didn't expect (I thought it might need more for back support). I have pictured the cushions and bench seat have zippers and are washable (bonus!). The seat is comfortable. I would say medium firm. It isn't as hard as a rock but you don't sink right to the slats of the bench. The seat is attached using velcro straps so it doesnt move on you. The color is a heather blue style. The dimensions are exactly as said and this seat fits 2 adults with the arms up comfortably. Our 7 year old fit nicely right between us as well. I could fit 4 of me (5'5 135lbs) with the arms fully down just to sit and hang out or play a board game. The back wood piece is not adjustable and sits vertical against the wall so there is not a gap. Shipping was quicker than expected by a few days. The box it was packed in was 4 1/2 feet in length by 25 inches wide. We recommend this product. We feel the cost is a great deal for what you get. ... show more

This is a petite piece of furniture, perfect for one person. a small space or as a filler in a room. The assembly directions suggested 2-3 hours for assembly and I had it together in about 30 minutes. It is not something I would suggest for loads of rough housing. Amazon has a very limited selection for my DC row-house (Dutch stairs, narrow doors) so I was truly relying on this seller. Delivered much faster than expected, 3 days! I was elated when I got the notification at work. Got home to an intact battle hardened box which was hauled with ease, opened the box...what a come down that was. Received my unit with significant dents, color blotches, "F" screw bag missing, and with one mis-sized Velcro piece (it was off by 2 inches & therefore couldn't latch). I feel hoodwinked. I paid $250 DIY piece so I expected a new functional product. It is unacceptable for it to be riddled with cosmetic issues and a cushion that wont attach properly. As a young professional frightful of domestic duties, assembly did require help from another clueless friend and it took us about an hour. We would have finished it faster had an integral F screws been in the bag. Luckily a more capable friend had alternative screws. The cushions are NEW and match the quality described..BUT I keep slipping because velcro is off! sits very low on the ground and does creek when I sit on it, i'm 120lbs. I ordered this to replace the big ugly hide-a-bed in my RV. Its not a large RV and the couch was just over powering. This was a great replacement it doesn't take up a lot of space and you can fold the arms down and stretch out or sleep on it. It took about an hour to put together and once done it was a solid build. The front of the frame arrived with several splotchy discolorations on it. On closer inspection, it looks like someone put several scratches in the wood, then colored over them with a black marker. They must have done it in a dark room, because the marker does NOT remotely match the rest of the finish. ... show more

Instructions really not that clear. Took well over an hour to assemble, and i'm not stupid when it comes to building stuff. Fit of the some of the hardware was off - some screws / bolts loose, some almost felt like were stripping them. The design itself is not robust. And good luck if you put almost ANY weight on the ends when laying flat. Just too many little things to waste time with here. You read about how merchants find ways to game the review system. To me this is just classic case of a China merchant that skimps on hardware quality / design, pushes all the labor on to you the consumer, and the end result is less than satisfying to say the least. I am going to put this out next to dumpster in my office park and someone will come collect it I'm sure. Just such a waste.... ... show more

I bought this as a replacement for a futon-style couch. I wanted something small and without arms (cat issues), but this is more of a loveseat than a couch, even with it completely unfolded. Seems fairly sturdy, but a friend of mine who is not large sat on it and I heard a loud "pop". Not sure if it will hold up in the long run. Not particularly comfortable to lean back on, the pillows it comes with move around and are just polyester(?), nothing fancy at all. Material seems thin and relatively cheap. Bottom cushion is probably around 3 inches thick and I doubt will last a very long time without compressing (cheap stuffing). I have attempted to lay down on it, but it is incredibly narrow. I'm 5'4" and found it just fit me laying on my back, with the dog trying to get up there to snuggle too, it was uncomfortable. All in all, had I realized the overall size and materials, I would have purchased something else. However, the wood frame seems relatively sturdy and I was able to put it together by myself fairly easily. I think this would be a good mud room bench or the like, but other than than it's very meh. Here is my 35 lb dog on the bench for a size reference, the Jolly ball is about as big as a soccer ball. ... show more
