In the picture, the left one is Homall and the right one is FDW. I thought FDW and HOMALL chairs were exactly the same, but they’re not... they identical in structure, but the HOMALL chair foam is much firmer than the FDW one - I like the firmer foam - I’m assuming it will be longer lasting. The stitching is slightly better too. As for the chair fabric - they are identical. They give a feeling of a thin PU fabric that can rip easily is handled roughly. If you’re tall or heavy, the leg rest will fall down unless you scoot all the way up. I am 6’2” and if I scoot all the way back, then I am able to rest comfortably without the leg rest falling down in the recliner position. If you’re shorter than let’s say 5’8” you may not even notice it... For the price, this chair is great. Again, FOR THE PRICE, the chair is great. I had a little chip off the back of one of the chairs when I opened the box, and Homall customer service was very good and they shipped that part very promptly. It was very easy to coordinate with them on this. don’t expect the same feel, plushness and comfort of a bulky leather recliner chair. But there is no other recliner chair out there that’s so compact and at this price. ... show more

    • A nice recliner, even for large men

I am a large man, 6' 5" 295 pounds. Although the chair is on the smaller side, I fit just fine. I am even able to sleep in it. Yes my legs hang over the foot rest but they do the same on any recliner I use. The chair is rated for 275 pounds according to the paper included with the chair and even though I exceed the recommended weight, it is solidly built and I have had zero issues with it after several days of use.     • BUYER BEWARE DANGEROUS PRODUCT

BUYER BEWARE . I liked the fact that this chair has a small footprint when not reclined and put it together easily today. I didnt recline it initially , but tonight I was watching tv and decided to recline it. Fully reclined I was sitting there and all of a sudden my feet are in the air and I am upside down , thrown into the corner wall. The corner wall puts a defect small tear on the top of the recliner and it flings me back into the corner wall. So the second time I use the recliner it tips back wards and throws me into the wall and puts a tear in the chair. I have spinal issues and I am 56 years old. If someone used that recliner that was in their seventies , God help them. I am only five foot eight inches tall. No way should a recliner tip over so easily . It is a dangerous product. So now I have to find a way to ship it back . A total waste of time and money. RUN RUN AWAY - BUYER BEWARE ... show more

This little chair is awesome. I am 5'2 and 255 ish lbs and I ordered this for the time being until I can buy a better recliner. Its in my bedroom. Before I was sitting in a cheap $30 zero gravity chair that was very uncomfortable for sitting as well as posture. I started looking at recliners months ago and was balking at paying 300 dollars plus for a nice recliner. I happened to stumble across this on Amazon, a chair for around 100 bucks with good reviews! I had to try it. I'm so glad I did. Its comfortable. I read on other reviews that chairs with a manual recline were difficult to shut and that is NOT the case with this chair. Its very easy to recline and sit up. Fits me perfectly esp with my height and the paper it came with says it has a weight capacity of 275 lbs. So my hope it is lasts a really long time. So far I give it 5 stars for its being affordable, compact, lightweight, seems to be of good quality and the shipping was faster than expected! UPDATE 3/3/2019 I went to sit in the chair tonight and the left side, the wood has split and the bolt came out. Now I can't recline the chair and my cat is not happy since she loves sitting with me while I am reclined watching YouTube. My Dad is going to attempt to fix it tomorrow if it can be salvaged. It ALMOST lasted one year. It's still a comfortable chair just at the moment it can't be reclined. 3/6/2019 I forgot to update this review. It wasn't possible to fix the chair and I had to throw it away. It was a bummer as I really liked it. I'm reducing it to 3 stars since I did get some good use out of it before it broke. ... show more

Had this chair a few days now and it's awesome. I'm 5'9'' and it is a little too short to rest your head on but it can be done. The quality is way better than expected..will see if it holds up well. Seat is a little firm but overall comfortable. Plus your back is straight while sitting. Arm rests are quite thin but still work fine. Even with those few flaws..for 120 bucks this chair is 5 stars for sure. Pros -Price $120 when I bought it. -Quality-Not leather but very nice material. -Comfort (Probably for people 5'9'' and under) -Easy to set up. Cons -Headrest shorter than I would prefer but still okay. -Does not rock Buy this chair if you don't want to spend over $300 on full sized recliner. I would highly recommend. ... show more
