I wear boots for the winter and I figured the round laces would be more durable than the flat laces from the same company. I have a no shoes policy for my apartment. I know I can keep my laces tied loose, but the problem with that is that they stay loose so walking is ridiculous and feels sloppy. With these laces you can lace them up relatively tight and still slip in your shoes with some help with a finger (to help so the back doesn’t fall down). I got these for my boots, I had a sports accident in HS so I can't bend my right leg to tie my right shoe so these shoelaces make it so much more easier to wear snow/hiking/ lace up boots. Easy to replace regular laces, love the adjustability (mostly why I got them), and last so long I've moved them to new shoes after the shoes wore out. I only got a new pair of laces because I wanted to have them on more than one pair of shoes at once.

This shoe lace is thinner than expected. The elasticity is ok. I guess it can be good for running. I just need it for easy slip on for casual walks and the gym. There are other brand that stretch better. There’s white dots on it that acts as reflector (great for at night running). I’m not a huge fan of the plastic piece that caps the ends ... show more

I have these on all of my hiking shoes and boots and love them. No more messing around with tying and untying shoe laces every day. Just slip your feet in, like you would into a pair of loafers, and you're good to go. If I am doing any serious hiking, I tighten the laces up a bit with the adjuster.
