All I have to say is WOW, these are like walking on clouds. I’m a busy working mom of 4 with arthritis in my back. I have tile floors in my house and realized I can no longer walk around barefoot. I have hesitated buying these because they’re so expensive but decided I needed to give them a try. While they’re not the most attractive, I actually bought them because they aren’t cute. This way, I won’t be tempted to wear them outside the house. I’m hoping to keep these exclusively my house shoes. If you have an aching back and have been debating buying these, BUY THEM! I am flat footed (see pic) and I’ve had plantar fasciitis on and off for over 10 years now. I use orthotics and see my podiatrist twice a year. I recently had a severe flare up, so bad it also caused pain in my right hip. I believe that this flare up started when I wore my Footminders Baltra several days for walking. It was too heavy and bulky for me. I researched for an alternative footwear that I can use around the house that will have arc and heel support. I saw this was recommended in several website so I gave it a try. My relief was instant. I am usually a size 6.5 or 7. but after reading several reviews, I got a size down so I bought a 6 which fits me perfectly. You will see in the pic how it cradles my feet very well. This is what I have been wearing since my cortisone shot a week ago and it has been the best thing every for my feet. I wish I can wear this to work because I don’t feel pain when I wear this. It is very light and the material effectively absorbs the pressure on my feet with every step. I don’t usually write reviews and I didn’t get paid to write this review. This is beyond LOVE. I was going to order a wheelchair because my plantar fasciitis had gotten to a point, I couldn't walk much and we were going to Disneyland. OMG, how lucky. I had gone to a podiatrist who basically said the same old things, tape, massage, steps, etc. It had been getting worse for almost a year. Then she hands me this paper of what I should do and then started telling me these shoes were what her clients swear by. It's because, these are liking walking on air, and the extra high arch (don't worry, it's all soft) keeps the heel from taking the strain. AMAZING. I bought another pair and one for my daughter and now for my son who has developed Achilles Heel. I have been wearing these almost straight for about six months, did Disneyland ON MY FEET straight for two long and grueling days, NO PROBLEM. Yes, I still have it, so if I forget and walk around, even on carpet barefoot, I say, OMG, where are those shoes! I am hoping if I don't reinjure it by wearing other shoes, I can eventually not have this problem and wear all those expensive shoes I bought to combat this problem, that did almost nothing. I don't write many reviews, but I had to. Remember these are not MEANT for all day wear everyday. they have no real support. I switched off at Disneyland, and I think that is important, but at home, no way. KEEP THE BODY WEIGHT OFF THAT HEAL, ice it, do the step stretch, and put a tennis ball under your foot, stretch it out. It wall works together, but the catch is, ya gotta actually do it! This shoe is so comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis. Walking around in bare feet on hardwood floors has become very painful. My husband ordered these as a surprise for me. He got my shoe size from my sneakers which I always buy a half size larger so they're still comfortable after I add a shoe insert for extra comfort. I normally wear a size 8M shoe otherwise. That being said, he ordered me a size 9. I should probably have exchanged them for the size 8, but I love them so much I want to wear them now. I bought these because one plantar fasciitis site I was on recommended Oofos shoes. I wore them for a couple hours the first day I received them. The next morning I woke and was able to walk without pain. I purchased the black shiny slides so that I would feel comfortable wearing them in public. These are my go to shoes now for the summer months. They have so much cushion and support. I put that they are larger than expected because I normally wear a 10 in women's shoes and ordered a 9 from what some of the reviews mentioned. They fit perfectly! ... show more
