  • Perfect for Kamado Joe Jr
Size: Small(S)
We have been searching and searching and searching for a quality nest to put our Kamado Joe Jr and took a gamble with the small rolling cart option. It worked! The KJJr fits snug in the small size and definitely helps to keep our little grill off the ground. Assembly was a little tricky- nothing elaborate but did take two of us to ensure all the screws were tight. We are pleased with the purchase and look forward to our next grill-out soon! ... show more

  • Size Small Cart fits Kamado Joe Junior
Size: Small(S)
The cart is very sturdy and well made with smooth rolling casters. Manufacturer supplied an extra piece of each of the 3 hardware units needed (13mm bolt, 13mm nut, and 18mm caster nut). Manufacturer also supplies two stamped out wrenches that are adequate for minor tightening, but they are insufficient to fully cinch it down. I had a 13mm wrench and sockets in my kit, but had to use a crescent wrench to tackle the four larger 18mm caster bolts, but that was fine. Re: assembly, my advise would be to hand tighten all parts to snug, but wait to cinch it down until it’s all assembled. Pay attention with the two pair of crossing brace pieces to insure they are oriented with the flat bar (that has the square carriage slot in it) on top each time laying across the u-shaped bar. Once it’s all assembled, you see there is some “play” in the cart that you have to attend to as you do the final tightening. Having a second person to help hold the parts in position as you cinch it down is very helpful. We flipped the cart upside down and found tightening from bottom to top worked best. Casters first, you’ll find that as the nuts tighten, the bearing races on the caster will start to spin. Since you can’t get a tool in there to grab the nut on the caster, we used a pair of water pump (channel lock) pliers to grab the caster as the nut was tightened. Once the casters are secure, flip the cart and then pay attention to maintain the braces in a perpendicular position as you tighten those two nuts finishing with the 4 upper bolts. When it’s time to move the Kamado, removing all the internal ceramic parts make it lighter to handle. The fit is snug so pay close attention to the position of the lower vent door and the arms of the cart. It actually required some force to press the Kamado fully down into the cart, but since it’s very secure once it’s in place that’s a good thing. I included 2 pictures. One shows the Kamado next to the metal stand the Joe Jr. comes on. The stand places the bottom of the Kamado 5 inches off the ground. On the cart, the bottom of the Kamado now sits 18 inches off the ground, with the grill surface at a comfortable 28 inches off the ground for grilling. It’s easy to move on the casters now. Manufacturer recommends pulling it by the handle, rather than pushing it. My patio has a joints with brick inserts, and the casters slip over the joints smoothly and easily. This turns the Kamado Joe Jr. into a very nice bbq for cooking up to 6 people. I’ve done chicken, tri tip, steaks, pork butt, even ribs to serve 6. For me the small unit is perfect. I didn’t want a 200 pound bbq (like the classic) when I mostly cook for small groups. Adding easy portability, means I can position it anywhere on the patio for use, and then easily return it to a rain protected spot under the eaves. ... show more

  • Cheap steel, cheap hardware, inaccurate instructions.
Size: Large(L)
Made of cheap steel, painted not powder coated. Look at the pitted metal with what appears to be stickers underneath the thin layer of paint. Instructions were also inaccurate and didn’t match the parts on the bag. Check out th inferior quality of the hardware as well - the head on one the bolts wasn’t even round, totally off center and mishapen. Cheaply made offshore. Will br surprised if it lasts more than a few seasons before rusting to pieces given how easily the paint scratched off. ... show more

  • Much better than my old original BGE model
I had a 12 year old medium BGE with their cart stand and it was rusting out pretty badly. I figured it would take forever to sand all the rust off and repaint it so I just got this one. And this one is much more substantial then the original, bigger wheels that easily lock down so your grill won't roll off. I ended up cutting a small circular piece of 1/2 plywood to screw to the base for a shelf, that would be a great addition. Some people have complained about the quality of the black paint. I felt mine was ok but in assembling the framework I did scratch a few spots so I just painted the whole thing with a good rust resistant paint after I put it together. I even painted all the nuts and bolts so they won't rust. ... show more

  • Solid product
Size: Large(L)
If you’re expecting some cheap knock-off, then move on. This is heavy duty, sturdy and a well made green egg stand. The wheels are large, not some tiny wholesale wanna-be’s. The wheel locks are serious business. This actually puts my green egg stand to shame. Very happy I saved half the cost of the real deal on this one. If you need a stand, look no further than this one. You won’t be disappointed!!! ... show more

  • “Mini-Max” size can fit Kamado Joe Junior
Size: Minimax(MX)
Bought for Kamado Joe Jr - fits well BUT use the bolt hole setting below the square-bolt hole - see pics - u may need to get regular bolt to fit more tightly - the packaging was beautiful - the four casters were packed especially well (see pic) - super sturdy / this product exceeded my expectations
