I bought these for the sole purpose of making my bike as visible as possible at night. To that end, these are very bright, pretty lights. When I first opened the little box I was astonished at how small the light bundle/string was. It measures maybe two cubic inches. I expected thick plastic tubing. Instead I got very thin wires with LEDs embedded in them. I haven't seen other brands so I don't know how these compare. It all seems very fragile to me. However, since the company offers a lifetime warranty, I will reserve judgement until I have a problem. The only issue I have with these lights is that they are hub mounted. The drawback to that is you have a decent chance of getting your hands greasy from the derailleur and chain every time you turn them on and off. You have to be very careful with the rear wheel and reach in carefully from the non-derailleur side and push the button. If you have disc brakes, like I do, you have to reach around the brake disc. When you do so it is likely the tube mechanism will slide a little since it is not firmly anchored to the hub. A band goes around the device and the bike hub to attach it. I would much rather have a device that connects to the spokes, like many other similar brands do. Ultimately, I am very pleased with the bright light that these produce. As we move into winter and I am riding more in the dark, I will be much more visible and safe then. Jury is still out on durability. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We ordered these lights so we could ride the neighborhood in the evenings. The lights are VERY bright and we love that they flash or can be solid. The mounting of the battery pack around the hub works great but can be tough to stretch the band. That's not a bad thing though. It holds very securely. Weaving the lights around the spokes takes some time and finessing but they hold very securely as well. Take your time and be mindful of any kinks in the wire. Overall we love these and highly recommend them. They are a small American businesses so consider supporting them! ... show more

I haven't yet used the lights, but i will say that I was very impressed with what happened after I ordered them. I honestly thought I was just getting a simple light fixture to add to my son's bike, a small Christmas gift that I thought he'd love. The lights came on time, and look to be as promised. I also got an email from the company that makes them with a short instructional video on how to put them on the bike. I'm so thankful for this. I probably wouldn't have known what to do with them. The video is short, and very helpful, and talks about the benefits of these lights vs some others on the market. So far, so good. ... show more

This product is a hit in the neighborhood! I purchased a set for all 10 kids on the block because now they can ride our cul-de-sac and be seen easily. Parents installed the lights in about 15 minutes and since the dads did it, no instructions were followed. I, on the other hand, watched the video that clearly explains how to install. It was a breeze to do. I purchased the original set for my granddaughter and then decided I needed one set as well. Of course, then added the neighborhood kids. So if a 60+ grandmother digs these lights as well as those aged 5 -10, you will be safe getting a set yourself! ... show more

I purchased two sets if these. Installation is pretty self explanatory, lights themselves are pretty great BUT, one set is holding up well and the second set.....is already out. I thought maybe it was the batteries but when I changed them out its just the light thats broken. So im really disappointed in the product itself. They lasted less than a month. My son is pretty bummed out about it and so am I. We won't be ordering these again. In fact, we will need to shop around for a new set of more durable lights. Wish I could get our money back to spend it on other more durable lights that will at the very least last a year with battery changes. ... show more

I purchased three of these light sets to be used on my two daughters bikes. Prior to this I had originally outfitted their bikes with a plethora of reflectors so that when they are riding at night they would be safer (our fairly quiet development doesn’t have sidewalks). I also got them a headlight and a taillight to increase visibility. When I saw these LED Bike Wheel and Frame lights I thought that it would drastically increase the visibility of them when riding at night making it much safer. The great thing about them is that they are just plain fun. Colorful, compact, appear to be durable/weather resistant, easy to install, low energy usage/great battery life, etc. I am very satisfied with the product and my daughters absolutely love them (they always want to go outside and get exercise riding their bikes at night). The only CON to note is that unit did not fit on my daughters 12” wheels because the spokes were too tight together, so we improvised and installed it on the frame instead. Works like a charm. The other two sets we installed on my other daughters 18” wheels as expected. I would definitely recommend to others!!! 5 stars! ... show more

Do Not Buy. This product has a design flaw that is common among cheap bike lights. Any bump you hit will turn it off. I am a bicycle commuter. You can’t go more than ten minutes without this turning off. I have maybe 100-200 miles with this on my bicycle basket. It has endured rain, snow, and one move in a moving truck. It is a durable product. However none of that matters if it turns off within 5-10 minutes, and I never know when it will decide to turn off. Would not recommend for any cyclist trying to add additional night limitation to his bicycle or bike trailer ... show more
