Wood is very nice and sturdy. My only complaint is the thickness of pad, which I was prepared for from other reviews. This daybed is SOO cute, it looks really great and the cost was just right----HOWEVER, you bootie starts to hurt after sitting in it for an hour or so.. the cushions are a bit thin and not the memory foam type; also note that the color is more of an dark teal/blue not blue blue---I actually prefer the actual color to the color on line :) OVERALL SUPER HAPPY! ... show more

The good: * The chaise is beautiful and goes perfectly with our pool and umbrella * The size is perfect for 2 people. The bad: * At this price point the cushion should be thicker. It's fine, but there is literally no advantage to a thin cushion on something like this. The ugly: * Really hard to put together. I've put together a lot of similar furniture and this was by far the hardest. In a few places the directions make no sense, and they included one bolt that doesn't fit with the chaise that just made things even more confusing. * Poorly built - the wood is low quality, and cracked in one place when we were assembling it. We did not put any abnormal amount of pressure on it. Wood glue did the trick, but I would be shocked if this lasts much longer than 2-3 years. ... show more

My 20 year old put this together all by herself while I was in a Zoom meeting. I kept looking out the window, and about 40 minutes into it....she was done and checking her email! I love it - all the space, the adjustable backs, everything.

Found this crack in the base right where a person would place their butt. Put it all together then found this. So upset! Wanted this for me for after my surgery so I could Lounge and elevate. Otherwise I was so impressed with the colors and style. I was so excited while Putting together till we saw the crack. Why can’t anything g be perfect from The get go. We really wanted a double wide lounger but didn't want to spend double wide dollars. This chaise lounge is the answer! It was easy for my husband to assemble, it looks great and is really comfortable. Through this same company bought matching side tables that we also love.
