Took longer to receive than stated by a few days. I'm hoping my dogs will use this instead of crawling under the covers. Oliver is a tubby 25 lb chihuahua mix. He seems to love it but so far hasn't gotten in it. I'm satisfied especially for the price.

My dog seems to like this bed, so I kept it, but the quality of the fabric seems low and there was a slight rip where the blanket attaches to the bed already when it arrived. Also, the plastic piece that holds up the blanket is not very sturdy and collapses. My dog likes to burrow into it though and lay on top of it. ... show more

My dog chewed through the blanket the first night and she doesn't really burrow under it but it doesn't matter because she loves laying in it so much! It's super plush. I had been buying her the really shaggy beds but this is our new go to!

Got this for my burrowing dog. At the first rumble of thunder, she's hiding under our beds or under the clothes in the closet. She really likes this bed, although not as a cave or hideaway. It's very soft and silky with a thick, comfy piece of foam. I got her to go inside it a few times by hiding treats inside, but she only stayed in there a little while. Maybe the weather is too hot. I kept finding her lying up against the raised opening, so I took out the plastic support to make the tent flat, then flipped the bed over so she can use the whole circle. We'll try it again in cooler weather to see if she wants to sleep inside the tent/sleeping bag. By the way, she weighs 25 pounds and you can see her size compared to the 26-inch diameter bed. ... show more

This is just the first day of using the bed. I was super excited to get the product ON TIME. I was previously using a cave bed that my Jack Russell Terrier could not fit into and used as a pillow (maybe because the product page failed to include important measuring requirements). At first my dog was like, Where by my bed at?! And I plopped this thing down and he took to it immediately. I wanted to call him off of it so he could see the little opening and he was actually reluctant to leave it. I think it is pretty clear he loves this bed. I considered washing it before use, but it smelled okay to me. I cannot comment on how easy it is to clean, but I will edit my review if I end up having difficulties. I did sit on it beforehand and it is soft with good cushion. It did not sink in like memory foam though. It currently supports his weight of about 12 lbs comfortably. He sleeps a lot so I think this is a good investment for him. *********TWO MONTH UPDATE********************* My dog who is 11 years old, finally figured out how to get under the blanket thing. I had given up on him and would hold it open for him at night. I guess I take too long to tuck him in and he figured out how to do it on his own. I have a stuffed animal I stick in on the side to prop it open a little. ********FOUR MONTH UPDATE********************* I removed the plastic tubing and the stuffed animal and my dog finally let himself in. What I think helped was that he knew it was possible and having a routine. Every night I brush his teeth and hold up the blanket for him to go under. Tonight I didn't bother because it’s warm anyway but I found he tucked himself in. So yay! It took him a while, but he figured it out eventually! The photo with the panda is NOT staged at all. 7 month update****** My dog started sleeping ON TOP of the cover instead of under when it got warmer, even though he knows how to get into it. So I removed the plastic frame. Then I found that he started to prefer the floor or the laundry pile. Tonight he was refusing to go to his bed, even though he knows the command. So I tried an experiment: I took his downstairs cat bed upstairs and put that on top of this bed and he immediately went for it. So maybe this bed is good for the winter...or maybe my dog just likes his smaller cozy beds with walls. ... show more

This is the 2nd one I have owned after my dog (Yoshi) decided to dig a hole through the last one. It took him a few years to finally do it, so I do not fault the product and actually am impressed it lasted that long of digging.

My dog loves this bed. She seems really comfortable on it. She loves to sleep under the covers but this one is a bit tricky. The plastic tubing that goes through to hold up the blanket is flimsy and it always just ends up lying down on the bed. She sometimes will work to get under it but then the tubing just rests on her head. Would love if it stood up better. She still loves the comfort of the orthopedic foam though. ... show more
