  • Nice Little Tool For Digital Artists
Color: Black/Blue backlit/Red switches
The media could not be loaded. There's not a whole lot to say here. It does exactly what it says, feels good to press, and holds up well. Programming the keys isn't too difficult once you learn the Amag software, and having plenty of spare key caps to choose from is nice. Although, i really wish there was a Space, Ctrl, and Shift key cap. Even if they were a single key cap instead of a double. Other than that, no complaints. ... show more

  • My favorite setup gadget! Perfect for productivity or gaming
Color: White/RGB backlit/Red switches
As a mechanical keyboard enthusiast, this thing is the perfect sidekick! For regular PC usage I leave it locked on a certain layer to use as a nav cluster, and for gaming I move my keyboard so that I have just the keypad and mouse in front of me to utilize the full space of my mousemat. It's pretty fun being able to whip my mouse around without worrying about crashing into my keyboard! I imagine it would also be super useful to map keyboard shortcuts for photo/video editing. There are a generous total of 4 fully programmable layers, with every key being addressable per layer. For users of custom keyboards, like 60%s running QMK, it should be completely intuitive to be able to shift up and down layers. One handy feature is the ability to "lock" (toggle) a layer, so it stays active without holding the Fn key. Macros are simple enough to work with, just remember which macro is which because you can't rename them. Also as other reviews have stated, you may have to split keypresses into up and down if the macro involves holding a key down while pressing others. RGB is SUPER bright. The LEDs themselves are brighter than any of my other keyboards, and it is only further amplified by the acrylic case and white keycaps. Customization is limited, with the only animated modes being breathing, blinking, and a rainbow wave, but you can at least choose what colors to go through. You can also set it to change to a certain color when an Fn layer is locked. Included in the packaging are what appears to be a full set of white doubleshot keycaps, as well enough extra blank keycaps to cover each key. Honestly, my only complaint at all is with the Outemu Red switches. They're scratchy, have crunchy springs, and the bottom out feels mushy. However this doesn't have to be an issue if it really bothers you, as you can always just desolder and put in new switches. I personally installed holtites for my WASD keys to make them hotswappable, since those are the only keys that I would really care how they feel, and Kailh Box Reds are an infinity% improvement (just note that you'll need switches with the big rectangular LED cutout because the SMD LEDs protrude from the PCB). I have not had a single issue with the hardware or software; it worked right when first plugged in without having to fiddle with any drivers, every switch works, and every key does exactly what I program it to. Finally, the value for this little keypad is amazing! You get better programmability than the ones from Razer/Logitech at like half the price, and I'd argue that this one has the best form factor as just a slice of a keyboard instead of a literal numpad or some terrible claw shape. If you're in the market for a keypad there's no reason to look elsewhere! ... show more

  • Great value programmable keypad
Color: White/Blue backlit/Blue switches
I purchased this product for use with image editing software like Photoshop and Capture One. My main goal was to isolate the keys I use the most, and to avoid awkward key combinations that were making my wrist hurt. Product ships with a link to download the software to customize the keypad. As an experienced computer user, I found it fairly straightforward to use. One issue I had was with programming the "Command" key combinations for the Mac. I needed to contact support, who told me that I needed to program the "LWin" key instead of the"Win" key. (This will make sense when you see the software). Once I got past that minor issue, I was able to program the keys easily. There is also the ability to get the backlight color and intensity. A quick note on the different colors mentioned in the listing - I initially ordered the “blue switch” version, which does click quite loudly when the keys are pressed. After contacting support, they advised that the “red switch” version has the soft touch, quiet keys. I’d like to see the seller add this info to the main product listing if they haven’t already. The keyboard ships with a nice selection of replacement keys with various characters printed on them, as well as a full set of blank keys. The printing on the keys with characters could be of higher quality, but I doubt that would matter to most users. Overall I’m very pleased with the product. It was just the right compromise between price, size, and features. A nice bonus is that this keyboard can be programmed in Mac OS as well as Windows. ... show more

  • Easy Programming, Mechanically SOLID!
Color: White/Blue backlit/Blue switches
I purchased this programmable keyboard for MMORPG gaming. Since then I have also used it for complex math calculations with several fixed constants and also have used it for executing macros within a parametric modeling software program. The LED's on this device are bright.. very bright! The keys are mechanical and feel great compared to the soft rubber contact switches on normal keyboards. Delivery I believe is from China and I received mine within 4 days, mainly because I reside in Thailand. US deliveries will probably be considerably longer. Great device and I will be purchasing others for my Smart TV's. Windows 7 (Don't laugh) immediately recognized the device. Documentation is a lacking, but most keyboard geeks can easily interpret the programming procedure. These are a great alternative to gaming pads...very responsive. A+ ... show more
