We purchased our new gazebo in June of ‘22 and were extremely pleased with its look and function initially. Then in a few short months we noted the material was wearing where the roof material was rubbing against the screws holding the frame together. There were also areas of the material that were fading. We put in a call to the manufacturer, sent a few pictures, and they honored their 5 year warranty by sending a brand new awning. No muss no fuss! We will be protecting this new one from wear against the screws, and maybe see if Scotch Guard will keep it from fading, but all in all after a year or so we are happy with the gazebo and thrilled with the customer service!! ... show more

Solid product but the installation manual could use a bit more clarity. I see other reviews talking about misaligned screws but most likely they are not installing it correctly. First off, the top planks that connect the legs together need to be installed a certain way. It is not obvious but the four screw holes on one side are slightly closer to the edge than the four on the opposite side. This makes the plank stick out a little bit on _one_ side only. That means the four planks need to fit together like a jigsaw (like the attachment). Secondly, the top crown with its 8 slots for each of the roof support is tricky to get right. Four straight slots (+) and four diagonals (X) have slightly different downwards angle; again not obvious. The manual says to stick the diagonal support beams to the slots marked with a number. Pay attention to this. In my setup, these slots were marked incorrectly so I ended up trying really hard to force the supports to align the screw holes on top of the legs. It is not supposed to be that difficult. If you are having difficulty at this step, you are probably using the wrong set of slots on the crown. Try moving each support beam one slot over. After days of searching this is the canopy/gazebo I thought would be best for on my deck. I know I only gave it 4 stars so that will be explained at the end of this review. The box arrived with all the parts individually wrapped and numbered. The written and graphic instructions were very clear with a couple of exemptions to be explained later. There are the appropriate Allen wrenches included along with a Allen fitting adapter to be used with a cordless drill. I opted to use the manual Allen wrench because some pieces needed to be manipulated in place before final tightening. The aluminum used is sturdy and well connected. The corners are exceptionally well built. Some of the fitting are tight so you will need some wd-40. The canvas canopy is a tight fit and I mean tight. There are two corner extensions you use to tighten the canopy but those were not used. In fact I pushed them in as far as they would go. Putting the small and large canopy in place required fore thought. If you placed the large canopy first as called for then there is only a small area to work from to attached the small canopy. So I opted to put the small canopy in place first . This required 2 people to stretch the canvas. I told it was tight. Then we placed the large canopy. This did require some stretching to get around the small canopy but after it was done you see it would have impossible to do as shown on pages 15&16. Prior to putting the canopy in place it was squared then lag bolted to the wood deck. The support plates used to anchor the corners are heavy grade steel which you will appreciate when you go to anchor this gazebo. Now my reasons for giving the 4 star rating. 1. I received the 10ftx13ft gazebo as I ordered. The instructions however are for a 12ftx12ft gazebo. That is now much of a problem until you get to Page 9 of the instructions. The roof profile numbers in the instructions do not match those of the numbers on the parts. So after trail and error fits 5 times we finally got it right. 2. The canopy. There are no indications of length and width. We laid out the canopy then marked the measurements. And as I said it is tight. Don't know if it loosen over time. Wait and see. In the end this is a quality product you wont regret buying. ... show more

What I like best is the canopy. You can't beat sunbrella. I had a good gazebo for several years before I got this one, but couldn't get a replacement canopy, so I got this. It took several days to get everything into place, but I'm pleased with the results. If anyone knows where to get sunbrella canopies for this one, I'd be interested in that! I read recommendation about putting Pea Gravel in each post, but I didn't like the idea of doing that since it was not completely sold. I had over 200 lbs of sand from my old gazebo and decided to fill several PVC pipes with the sand and slide them ins the columns. It seems to have worked out well and I don't have to worry about a future mess. So far, so good. ... show more

    • Bought to replace a prior model we had for 9 years
We had a prior model that we loved and for which we received many compliments. Alas, it was getting old and did not survive a late spring snowstorm. Ordered the 12x12. It arrived in a box clearly labeled 12x12, but when I opened it the instruction book was for 10x13. Checked the parts and it was clear that it was, in fact, 12x12. Assembly was easy-ish even with incorrect instructions as there was a lot of overlap. However, the canopy turned out to be 10x13. I thought this was going to the the start of a horrible process. I messaged the seller through Amazon on Sunday early evening and about an hour later I received a reply. I provided the requested information on Monday morning and Monday afternoon I received the FedEx shipping info. from Shanghai. Received the correct canopy on Thursday morning.
