The desk itself wasn’t difficult to piece together. It took me 2 hours by myself. The only issue I had was the sliding piece for the floor. The holes on the board and the holes on the black plastic sliders don’t line up. There’s also some pieces that are included but not used in the instructions …. T

r desk. This desk doesn’t have the thickness of a normal desk so the long screws will go up through the desk because it’s narrow. So short screws you will need. It’s very sturdy. I’d buy another if I needed to and definitely recommend it.

Shockingly nice, solid desk. Need to know how to build things.

This desk beyond surprised me. I've put together lots of "box" furniture that comes in a million pieces with instructions and usually, the quality is pretty low. Not the case here. The legs and support beams were shockingly heavy duty. I weigh 200lbs of pure man muscle, and honestly I think I could s
tand on this thing. I'm not going to try it, but I think it would be just fine. One thing I will say is you kinda need to be somewhat handy if you want to assemble this quickly, and I HIGHLY recommend using your own tools instead of the little one's provided. It comes with a mini wrench and a 5/36" allen wrench/phillips head screwdriver combo (one end is a phillips head, other end is 5/36" allen drive). Of those, the only provided tool that I used was the mini wrench. I used my own screwdriver and an electric drill gun with a 5/32" allen bit to screw in the bolts (I included a pic of the bit so people can see, it's a pretty standard size). There are a LOT of bolts. If I was twisting and twisting the little provided tool to screw those things in I think my experience in building this desk would have been substantially more frustrating. With the drill gun? No sweat, they all zipped right in. I built it in maybe 30 minutes. Once assembled, this thing is a beast. I said I weighed 200lbs earlier and added a joke to that, but honestly, as a rock climber I'm in relatively good shape and fairly strong. Flipping this thing over by myself once it was put together was, well, not HARD, but I legitimately am not sure if my girlfriend could have done it on her own without scratching the table or putting a hole in the wall and slamming it down. So, if you're not particularly skilled at building things or if you're not particularly strong, I would recommend asking a friend for help. I also HIGHLY encourage using a drill gun w/ the bit I included a picture of. It will save you lots and lots of time. The actual desk? I bought it for the same reason you are probably reading this review. I have to work from home now, and I didn't have a desk or "office", just a gear room for my climbing and skiing gear. I moved some things around, put up some shelves, and ordered this desk to fit in a corner. It looks amazing, feels solid as a rock, and the adjustable feet are an absolute must. My house was built in the 1920s and has the original hardwood floors. They are not exactly level, but with the adjustable feet I was able to get the desk perfectly level and very sturdy. Zero complaints from me, but I could see how some people could complain about assembly if they didn't have the tools. Still giving it 5 stars though because I've never considered it a manufacturers responsibility to provide you with tools...

It took me a minute to put it together because it is reversible and I needed it a specific way for the space I was putting it in. So, just make sure you are following the right instructions for the way you want the desk to sit in your space. Other than starting out with it going the wrong way the ins
tructions are pretty easy to understand but it is a pretty big desk so it takes some time to put together. I plan on using this desk for gaming and want to have a whole aesthetic with lots of decorations. This desk gives me plenty of room for the plans I have for it. Overall so far I am very happy with this desk.

Very skeptical at first but very great product
The media could not be loaded. To be honest I love the desk cause it’s very, very durable. I’ve been using the desk for a while now, probably around two years, and I have to say that it’s held up from me pretty much doing anything, working on the vent right above the desk or the shelves right above t
he desk, even when I stood on it I had 100% faith that I didn’t have to worry about it breaking and it’s held up and still looks great after a while, I’ve had other desks that seed and start cracking overtime, this desk has not done either of them, I also love how you can orient it in two different ways depending on your set up and layout. As you can tell I have a bunch of stuff on the desk and I still have plenty of room to do schoolwork and play games. It does get a little cramped but that’s because I have way too many things. The directions were a little confusing at first but once I started putting together a couple of parts, I got the hang of it and put the desk together in no time. Like I said before it is a very durable and very long lasting desk compared to most of the others. I would recommend this for anyone who has space.

UPDATE: Changing to 4 stars. Would give 4.5 if I could. The seller contacted me after my review and asked if I would like to get two new tops for both desks. Since one of my issues was, in what I believed just the general mfg of the desk top, I didn't want to waste time for either of us so I agreed f
or them to send me one desk top (since one was actually damaged) and if that came good and without the other "flaw", I'd request another. With in a week or two I had a new top so I could get rid of the cracked one which was very nice. I still have issue with how the edges are for something that is new, so I won't get getting a second top (even though I appreciate the offer) but for the price I can make that a smaller deduction on rating. For what the desk is, how it fits my needs AND for the follow up and ease of working with the seller (only based on my review mind you - THEY were proactive and contacted me), I do think a 4.5 star rating is a fair. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Overall this desk is what I needed and works well in my space for an affordable price. I didn't want anything bulky. I did buy two desks, one for my husband as well. Oddly each had different assembly instructions. I attached the one I found was the easier of the two to follow. This easily could have been a 5 start purchase for me but my complaint and I'm removing a couple stars for this just because it is the most visible part of the desk...I wish the desk top was a bit better quality/condition for something new. The edges of each piece (on both desks) just look worn already so I think this is the "standard" (that is one star) and one desk came with a rather large visual crack right in the middle of the long section (that is the second star). Again, otherwise it could easily be a 5 star item for me. It's stable, affordable, flexible in set up and nicely sized.

The media could not be loaded. It’s beautiful it’s sturdy. It was simple to put together. Some screws are harder than others to place. But I did it. And I don’t regret it one bit. I will say though, that this is not real marble or even imitation marble. It’s wood.. that looks marble so.. yea.

Very nice, sturdy PC desk. Easy to assemble. Do be careful if you use real tools instead of the provided to assemble. You can collapse the square tubing if you over tighten.
