UPDATE: 08/01/2022 Everything that was negative in my first post was graciously and very professionally fixed by McCombo chairs. Without me needing to ask, they sent me a replacement chair and arranged for a UPS pick up of the first chair, in its damaged box. I naturally offerd to retape the damaged box, which they wrote me back thanking me, and saying that they were very grateful for my efforts .They apologized multiple times for the damage. Their polite, friendly communications surprised me! Not many companies go to this extreme to be helpful, grateful and just nice! BRAVO McCOMBO!!! The replacement chair was delivered perfectly by UPS. It appears to me as if the first FedEx delivery might have been the cause for the extreme damage. The continutation with a different delivery serice, UPS delivery, was flawless as always! LOVE UPS! All dealings with McCombo has been very helpful and professional. Communication was always prompt, professional, and quite friendly. It was a pleasure communicating with a real live person, who went above and beyond, to make a bad situtation PERFECT! I will definately be a repeat customer as we continue to decorate our family room. McCombo proved to me how a QUALITY company respects and treats their customers. Sadly, this is NOT the case! This McCombo lift chair is to be a Birthday gift for my husband (06/13). He has had a very rough time lately after breaking hip. I thought this lift chair would make his life a little easier, less painful, and his birthday a little happier after his rough year. However, the box that was delivered looks like it didn't only come from the GARBAGE DUMP, but the BOTTOM of the GARBAGE DUMP!! The box is a disgusting, ripped up, piece of falling apart garbage, with pieces sticking out of it! The second box, which seems to be the backrest looks nice, but the main box containing the motor etc is all ripped and torn with pieces sticking out of it. I haven't totally opened the box yet. I'm fearful that there might be major pieces missing or damaged. I'm also worried that some critter might jump out of the box. It looks ripped, but also possibly chewed in places, with larger irregular shaped holes in the box. I would assume after spending this MUCH MONEY on a chair, that it would be delivered in good shape. How am I going to put a bow on a piece of ripped up garbage to wish my poor husband a Happy Birthday? Glad I didn't order a second chair for myself, as I had originally planned. Amazon, and the seller should be ashamed of sending out garbage to their loyal customers!!!! SHAME..SHAME...SHAME on Amazon, the seller, and also FedEx who dumped this pile of junk in our driveway without so much as ringing our bell. Our dog barked , and came and got me after hearing the FedEx truck. By the way, it had just started to rain, so without our wonderful dog alerting me of the delivery truck leaving, this mess would have been much worse, plus drenched! Glad it wasn't garbage day, or surely this pile of junk would have been mistaken for trash and hauled away to the dump, which is where it looks like it came from! I'm a reasonable person, and realize that at times a little damage is occasionally to be expected during delivery , but this is outrageous! It took me a good week, looking through all the reviews and trying to find one, not real cheap, but not to expensive either, and we hit the jackpot. I bought this for my father who is on Long term hospice. It helps him stand with ease. The easy push of a button recliner has really helped elevate his swollen feet and ankles and within a few days they were back to nomal, the first time in almost a year. His nurse was very impressed. For the price and the comfort, so worth it! He's been using it now for about 3 weeks, so far so good! ... show more

The recliner is perfect for me. It’s comfortable and well made. I contacted the store because one of two USB ports didn’t work so they immediately messaged me saying they’d send a new arm for it! Bought this for my almost 95yr old mom with a new diagnosis of Afib and CHF...very important for her to keep her legs elevated and to have assistance getting up from a chair after spending more than a week in the hospital. We researched various chairs with high prices and came across this one on amazon. Insurance won't cover the cost even though it's medically necessary so cost was a consideration. We also wanted an easy remote control and basic up down, legs up down movement. Didn't want a huge chair that would take up lots of space. We didn't want beige...who wants a light beige chair for an elderly infirmed person. This chair meets all the requirements and more!!! The charcoal grey is perfect, the material very nice, not oversized. The arms are nice and soft with just the right amount of stuffing, the cup holders are a plus, as well as the USB charging ports. The motor is quiet. Mom is 5'3" and 130 pounds....ideal size for her. When ordered the chair was out of stock, still arrived earlier than expected, within a week! 2 boxes and very easy to assemble, less than 10 minutes! The company added a pocket so that both sides of the chair have a good sized pocket for storage. Would not hesitate to buy this chair..for a 1/4 of the price of most chairs, this was a great find!
