I was really looking for something that was an easy on/off for my lenses while on my camera body dangling from my sling or on my PD Capture. I thought these would be the solution to my problem as I have come to completely despise lens caps. Let's face it, they are awkward and (fumbly??). There is no less than 80% of the time I end up touching my front element trying to get a cap back on the lens and it drives me mad. This led me to searching Amazon because let's be real, if you can't find it on Amazon it's probably not even real... kinda like the earth being round or real birds :). I digress... I was excited to get these only to find that there is no quick way to get these on and off.. and you're definitely not doing it one handed. I was going to return them but I believe my use will be to utilize them for long term storage of lenses or when traveling on a plane as the secondary protection for the front element. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This cap has been such a help! I’ve purchased a few plastic caps and they never work. I’ve had this cover for over two months now, and it is perfect! Highly recommend for all lenses.

This doesn't really protect the lens. There's no impact protection (description was honest about this), and the rubber has a tacky/sticky surface, which attracts dust and lint and anything else it comes in contact with, like a baby assassin bug. If you're a wedding photographer you'll be fine. If you're a wildlife photographer who has to get the lens cap off and out of the way in a hurry to catch a moment, you're out of luck because if you put it down or put it in your pocket it's instantly covered in dust and lint that can't be brushed off. And if you're a wildlife photographer in the desert, you may not have a creek at your feet to rinse it in. ... show more

I needed something to protect my lenses as I am always on the go and my lens caps don't seem to stay on as well. So I place the KUVRD lens caps on (even with the original caps on the lens as well) to help protect my lenses and not have to worry about my lens caps falling off randomly. I did take a 30 day trip to Barcelona and my original lens cap on my 24-70 fell off in the car. I didn't notice it fell off until I got to security so I was stuck with that problem for my entire trip. Now the KUVRD lens caps will make sure I don't have to think of having that problem again.
