I love this TV. It's a great combination of performance and features at a good price point. I'll skip the technical specs that are easily found in the listing and focus on my personal impressions of the TV features and setup. I mounted this TV on the wall using the Cheetah APTMM2B mount found on Amazon. It worked perfectly and keeps the TV very close to the wall. The 75" TV is pretty heavy and requires two people to lift and hookup the cabling in one pass. Once on the wall, good luck trying to plug in an HDMI. I used DataComm Electronics 50-3323-WH-KIT for hiding the wiring in the wall: power, 3x HDMI cables and a LAN cable. All in all, a great, clean installation for a worthy TV as shown in the attached picture. While the TV is an entry level product in the QLED line, I feel it displays a beautiful picture, especially compared to the old LCD it replaced. I used calibration settings for this model from rtings.com and it looks great. I tested 4k content with The Mandalorian after an easy installation of the Disney+ app from the menus. Personally, I was wowed by the picture. I feel the colors and are great and the brightness is more than acceptable, but I have not compared to the higher end Samsung QLEDs side by side. I thought that I would absolutely hate the minimalist remote control and go back to a Logitech Harmony. I was completely wrong about it. After installing everything and spending a little time with it, I fell in love with this little remote. The remote combined with the well thought out menus is a great pairing. Samsung really nailed this as far as I'm concerned. Others may or may not feel the same way, but I love it. It all makes so much sense once you put it in use. It does a great job of combining all of your devices within the software, under one remote, without all the added buttons. Ambient mode is fun to play with. It's basically just a screensaver to display when not using the TV for viewing content. I stream music on it while it sits on a background that is 3 dimensional. It has some nice designs and is highly customizable to match your room decor and colors. It lets you take a picture of the wall the TV is on in the Smart Things app to match everything. Lastly, setup/configuration can be done with the remote and/or the Smart Things app. I used a combination of the two. The quick setup guide isn't much use in my opinion, but setup was pretty self explanatory regardless. It's a lot like step by step walk-through a new smartphone goes through. The TV manual is mostly found in apps on the TV. I ran in to issues with the cable box device install at first. It detected fine, but after setup completed the remote didn't control the cable box at all. A quick Google search found that sometimes you need to uninstall the device and reinstall it (after setup has completed) in order to get it working and controlling as expected. I did a lot of research in advance of purchasing this TV. I landed on this model because it has many of the features I was looking for and the price can’t be beat! I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase. This is such an awesome TV. Spectacular picture quality, especially with 4K content or with most streaming content. I love the smartTV features. I’ve literally gotten rid of my Apple TV and Roku and now exclusively use the SmartTV features to navigate everything from Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Spotify, regular cable and Apple+. Great sound quality alone and even better when I run the sound through my Sony receiver and sound system. Others have complained about the super simple remote but I love it. It does pretty much everything I need it to and keeps my coffee table less cluttered. I’ve hosted a few movie / tv show watch nights at my place and everyone tells me how awesome this TV is. Absolutely love it! I love the smart features and use it for all my fav apps - Netflix, HBOMax, Hulu, BritBox, YouTube, etc. The only thing I’d improve is the frustrating Bixby system. I have a Manhattan accent (ie. no discernible accent) and Bixby still understands about 20% of what I say. It was also activating when certain words would be said on the tv show I was watching. I tried adjusting the sensitivity but to no avail. So I disabled it. Not a big deal or a feature I use often. The TV works well when I stream content from my Mac or iPhone. Highly recommend this TV!! I recently saw a family member with an 85 inch TV and I was hooked. I never jumped on the 4K bandwagon and had a plasma that was 4-5 years old (no smart TV, no 4K). I figured this was a good time to jump in. I saw the LG 86" TV for about 2,200 on a few websites, but there were almost no reviews anywhere on the product which spooked me. I have always owned Samsung so I trusted it when I saw the Q60. Unfortunately, it was just outside my price range at $2800. Enter the open box boys at Video & Audio Center who are general the cheapest offering when you click on "USED - LIKE NEW". First, The VIDEO and AUDIO Center in California was incredibly professional. Communicated from the time I made the purchase and helped me with a very unorganized shipping company (the delivery driver, incredible - the shipping company itself, incompetent). It was projected to arrive August 12 and it arrived the 16th. Nevertheless, hard to beat free shipping from California to the East Coast with a 130 lb package. The 80" model is heavy as all get out. The only issue I might have had with this "USED - LIKE NEW" pitch from the seller is they are clearly a Samsung authorized dealer so they must be pushing out dozens and dozens of these (I see they still have more right now). The rear of my TV had a 4 inch GASH in the plastic. No one will ever see it. It didnt bother me at all. However, I would recommend that the seller perhaps take a more individual approach to each specific package. They are selling this as a "OPEN BOX - LIKE NEW". Clearly, someone tried to mount this... failed when they realized it was too heavy and caused a gash near the mounting hole. Again, I would have STILL bought this at a 700 dollar discount for something no one would ever see, but it wouldve been nice to know. The shipping driver who was incredibly helpful felt bad because he thought they might have caused it when clearly this was an old issue - just be forewarned if you are buying from Amazon's "USED & NEW" tab. The TV itself is breathtaking. If you can squeeze out the extra cash for this over a 65-75 inch, DO IT. Obviously, my old plasma had a much higher refresh rate, but the sheer size of this is insanity. Also ensure you have 12-15+ feet of space to distance yourself from the TV. I am about at 12 feet and the size is perfect, but I can see if I were to watch a fast motion paced game or movie, my eyes may not be able to handle it quite as long. It is literally like sitting in a theater (the good and bad that comes out of that). The TV is hooked to a 5.2 system so I cannot really comment much on its speakers, but the few times I had to turn of the A/V equipment, the TVs standard speakers werent terrible if you need to keep the volume reasonable. Again, this TV is heavy. You will not be able to mount alone. You will not be able to remove from the box alone. You will probably not even be able to carry the TV if the person you are with isn't strong enough to lift 50 lbs themselves comfortably. This was VERY heavy. We ended up buying a gigantic and heavy mount that we paid Amazon to mount for us just so we didnt have to deal with this ever again. I have seen some comments complain about clouding. We've only had it a week so hopefully that never arises, but as of now it looks wonderful. ... show more
