Pros: -Great sound. Much more powerful bass that I was expecting, can get very loud. -Quick and relatively stable connection. I only have sound drop out when I press phone against something and block it. -App works pretty well and has some good settings (though it could be even more configurable). Cons: -Not sure if this is a Pixel issue or what but notications are basically useless with these headphones because it just says the name of the app but not the content of the notification. -Music only pauses when both earbuds are removed instead of just one. (should be a setting, really) -Nearby Devices pairing and Dolby Atmos don't work on Pixel 3 or other non-Samsung phones. Not necessarily Samsung's fault but good to know. -Ambient Sound works pretty well but you have to manually toggle it on all the time. You can configure a touchpad hold to toggle it but I personally use the less hold for active Ambient Sound and the right one for Google Assistant. ... show more

Starting with what's good, excellent battery life, very comfortable, excellent ergonomics, nice case. But none of this matters because the most important thing is the audio quality which is poor at best. The fidelity range is very narrow with poor base and low volume in the voice range. UPDATE: three months later. Getting use to them has helped in particular understand ing how the software settings work. Inparticular there is a setting to enhance human speech which helps with the mid-range audio. But overall all they are disappointing. ... show more

Great ear buds with and great price. Sync as soon as you open the case and the touch controls work very well. Noise cancelling and it has a app the least you tune. I fell a sleep with them in my ears and woke up with them still on my ears.

Within 2 weeks the left earbud was almost inaudible and the right was still normal sound. After talking to actual Samsung customer support they told me it was defective and after reading the reviews for the seller, they are possibly stolen. Go to a physical store to buy these earbuds or choose a different seller. ... show more

    • Best Alternative to AirPods
The only earbuds I've ever used that didn't hurt my ears. They're very comfortable while still providing a good seal. Technically the hardware is made by AKG so they sound great. Very smooth and even frequency response for a consumer grade product. Bass has the right amount of presence without swallowing the rest of the mix the way junk like Beats or Skullcandy does. Compare them to other headphones with a tone generator and they actually feel comparable to studio reference headphones in some ways. Most consumer headphones are too bass-heavy but if you're an audiophile you will find these very passable for consumer earphones. Battery life is very forgiving and if you're using them for work or phone calls, you can seamlessly use them one at a time to effectively double your battery life. They pair as one unit, but all you have to do is put one in the case and continue using the other piece. Pairing is also automatic and very fast - there is no "pairing mode" that must be manually triggered like with other earbuds. Just take them out of the case and they automatically search for pairing requests from whichever device you want to use. USB-C is a welcome feature if you have a newer android phone, since micro USB has begun to show its age really badly and most other true wireless buds still use it.
