For reference I got the fawn color! It is so long and wide & so comfortable! My bf is 5’10 & he can lay comfortably across it! Taking away one star because I originally ordered this couch in slate color and upon delivery we found it was damaged. The original couch took two weeks to arrive & because of this we had to wait another two weeks. Shipping was also delayed by a day the second time around too. I own two of these (working on a third lol). The first was a gray 89" purchased in 2022 that we were using in our living room until the cognac became available. I ordered the cognac three weeks ago and it got here a few days ago. I don't know if this is only for the leather furniture or something they introduced in 2023, but the cognac version comes with a zipper halfway up the couch so you can zip the cushions to the couch to prevent the cushions from sagging. Absolute game changer!! That was many reviewers complaint and it looks like S&B listened. I didn't mind the sag, but I could see how people wouldn't like it. Not sure if this is a leather only feature, but it's a very nice addition. Overall we love these couches. They are huge, super comfy, easy to clean and high quality. I wash these cushion covers from my gray couch every few months, and it always comes out like new. No pilling for the fabric ever which was a problem for our other Amazon company couch, Rivet something or other. The leather looks legit from what I can see and it smells like it as well. Not sure if the couch itself is, but the cushions are definitely leather. Like I said, we are going to buy either the loveseat or the smaller couch in cognac once we get some more cash. If I could I would buy another for our loft, but the gray couch already takes up the whole room. I would say buy this couch if you want to put your head back and sink into heaven. It's meant to be comfortable and not for conversing with guests. Also, my mom slept on this one day when we had a bunch of family members over and she says it sleeps well so you can absolutely use the 89" as a backup bed. ... show more

The order was running late and finally arrived today. Two delivery men brought it in the house and were polite good mannered men. I unpacked it in an open area and had no problem scooting it to the living room while still wrapped. It was like Christmas as i took off all the layers. I am so happy with this purchase. I took more pictures than I normally do to show the care in which is was packages and shipped. Layers of protection!! The chair is lovely, soft and supportive. I was hesitant on buying this chair, I looked at a lot of chairs online and had this one on my amazon list. When Prime Day hit and the price dropped I hit that button! :) Glad i did. ... show more

Got this sofa on Prime Day(s) - mulled it over for a little while, but ordered it based on all the good reviews. I absolutely LOVE this sofa. It's in our basement, so doesn't get a ton of use so far, but I have already taken a nap on it, and it's very comfortable. We have 5 dogs, 3 cats and 9 grandkids, so it was important to me that it be easy to clean. So far, haven't had to clean it, but the reviews I've see indicate it should clean right up. I put "stain resistance" as a 4 because I just don't know yet. ... show more

    • Great Sofa, but let's talk about "Leather"
Size: 89" Sofa Color: Cognac
So, I bought the 89" sofa in Cognac Leather. The sofa is huge. It's really, really comfortable! But, is it leather? It feels like leather. It has a very faint leather smell. I suspect it is a material called "PU Leather"... This is split-grain leather with a layer of polyurethane on the surface. That means it is highly stain resistant and easy to clean, but it won't be as tough over the long haul as real leather. UPDATE: The finish layer is breathable, and the leather WILL readily absorb water and solvents. I would recommend treating it regularly with Leather CPR, which will clean and preserve it, and tend to make it more resistant to water. Overall the couch appears to be very well made. The frame is strong and well constructed. A good deal for the price. ... show more
