We really love this sofa, and FYI we are only two people and we weigh 200 lbs each. It is installed in living room of our one bedroom apartment. It's gets a lot of use in the daytime as we are retired and spend a lot of time at home. Had it for about a month. Got it in green and it's just like the pictures show. Unlike most of this format of sofa, this one comes with fold down supports/legs for the backs that you deploy when you have them in the folded down, sleeping, position. These supports are hidden by a high quality zipper. The sofa, unlike others, is totally upholstered in your chosen material, meaning the areas seen when viewing from behind are not upholstered in cheap black material, as is so very common, but rarely pictured. Sofa velvet is soft and cushions are somewhere between soft and firm. For what this is I call it soft, but my other half says on the firm side. Arm rests are classy and soft too. Sofa is supported by six legs, which is best for this type of sofa, IMHO. Assembled easily by one person using two small wrenches, that are included. You simply need to attach the legs and the arm rests, and this will take 30-60 minutes. We have already slept the night on it on two occasions, just for fun and to test for guests who may someday visit. Very comfortable! I am honestly amazed. We spent literally three months researching this sofa purchase. We're very happy. If you see this review then you have lucked out. Pick your color and pull the trigger. You will be happy you did. This manufacturer is making great furniture and really building a brand. They seem to be in it for the long term as they have clearly decided to prioritize quality. You can't go wrong. I bought this futon/couch for my home office on Prime Day. It arrived in a big heavy box but I managed to slide into my house. My husband and I rotated the couch up the stairs after removing it from the box. We assembled it in my office. I love it! Seems like it would be comfortable to sleep on. I like the hidden support legs for the bed. The only thing is the color. I thought I was getting a dark navy color but it’s more of a grey/blue which works for me but could be a surprise for someone else. The corner of the box was a bit damaged upon arrival but it didn’t seem to affect the couch. Overall, I think this was a great deal ($310) ... show more

After moving too many times, I have bought a lot of furniture items from Amazon, so I was not expecting to be impressed. I love this futon. It was easy to put together, it's super stylish - love the navy velvet retro look- and it is sturdy. It is officially my favorite piece of furniture! Oh, and the back halves folding down separately is handy. It's firm to sleep on - if you like soft, you'll need a topper. And since I had to move twice in 4 months, I can report that it moves well, too! My movers complimented its versatility in the different ways the could fold and load it. I purchased this for my office for seating and hopefully extra sleeping area for company. It’s soft and sturdy, but a little stiff to sit on for a long period and to sleep on. It looks great though!! The color is more gunmetal than gray but I’m making it work with pillows.

The couch is firm, which is fine for me but I don’t know how I would do sleeping on it. Haven’t tested that out yet. The velvet also has some permanent lines on it, possibly from the adhesive from the box, but I’m not too bothered by it since it’s on the bottom half and less noticible. Assembly wasn’t too difficult, though having your own wrench helps a lot - the one provided is ok but flimsy. Beware of the staples on the underside where you attach the couch arms. One staple was poking out but not very visible (the staples are painted black to blend in) and ended up stabbing my dad in the thumb while he was tightening the nuts. ... show more

Shipped in a Box and nicely folded inside the box, if someone is wondering how the delivery will go. The drivers left it in my room of choice and helped me unbox and check for any damages before to acsept the delivery. The fabrick is nice and I found only one very small defect there. The color is much better than this one really dark blue on the picture. Looks cute in small room and it's not heavy so it's easy to move it around by myself and Im a petite girl. I did the assembly of two arms and 6 legs by myself and I was able to turn it on his legs without any help. What I dont like is that is too firm and I was expecting a bit more softness from the Memory Foam. So I bought big soft pads to sit over them haha for more confort when watching TV. Overal good for the money and looks cool. Unfortuanatelly I never found a comfortable futon/sofa/sectional in whole my life. I guess the comfortable's are in 5K price range if they exist at all. ... show more
