I LOVE the silver design on these deep purple, really more like eggplant-colored curtains! The silver pattern reminds me of wands of seaweed in the ocean or constellations in the sky. The don't QUITE blackout the room perfectly, but this room is in solid sunlight ALL DAY LONG and they do a great job with it when I need them to (during sleep, overnight) even though the thermal/blackout qualities are far from perfect during the day. I'm sure if the room weren't southeast-facing it might be a different story. But I love them and think they are SO pretty and they blackout the room beautifully at night...consider me a satisfied customer! ... show more

I bought these because they were cheap and I wanted to cut the one to go over my AC in the middle. I received them yesterday and once I took them out of the package and sad oh…I can’t cut these, these are actually really nice. I had folded the one over my AC and said that looks dumb. I forgot I could stick them behind the AC because I have a Midea U shaped AC. It bunches up a little on the side due to the AC, but now I can keep these nice curtains whole. I even bought a darker pair last night so I could switch from light to dark grey during spring/summer and fall/winter. I have an LED street light right outside my window along with a very lonely mockingbird. My room was pretty dark last night and I couldn’t hear the bird singing for a mate (he sings from 11pm-6am). I told my friend “These curtains make my room as dark as my soul!”. I also like the tie backs they came with (I hate curtains tied back but they look nice tied back) ... show more

Love these. We have a cat who tore up so many woven curtains that I had just given up but I saw these and thought heck, one more go. We have had the grey 52"x84" in our bedroom for a few months and although we do have cheap apartment blinds which filter some light, these are excellent for a room that takes full morning sun all year round. They definitely cut down on heat a lot which is especially great if you don't have double pane windows. And kitty doesn't touch them at all! We recently purchased really nice sofas and the room is still coming together and figured curtains were one of the fastest and cheapest options to keep us moving forward. We ended up with four taupe panels in the 52"x92" measurements, and two panels of the beige (or cream I think the packaging said)? I also love that a set of "tie backs" - in this case a strip of fabric with Velcro are included. Finally, I appreciate that the back of the curtain is not white; it is the same color through out (minus the metallic). I highly recommend these for price, quality, light blocking, and appearance. ... show more
