I bought 2 rolls of the white glitter HTV. What I’m making is 2 designs per 12x24 Mat and a total of 4 mats plus another mat for names. I made the first and second mat and they were so easy. I said to myself this is the easiest to weed glitter vinyl I have ever used. Well I started using the second roll on the last 2 mats and it was horrible. When you would weed it would pull the letters up with what you were pulling away. Once you pulled away the excess the letter started to roll up off the plastic backing and if you press it back down it just rolls back off. I’m not sure if you have ever tried to put a letter back together but it’s impossible. One of the letters in the middle of my design came apart so it ended up wasting a 12x12 piece because I had to cut out an additional design and throw the ripped one away. Plus they put a huge seam in the middle of my sheet of vinyl, they taped 2 pieces of vinyl together to make my full 5ft roll. Not sure what you are supposed to do with that! I haven’t tried to adhere it yet but I’m praying that it’s a smooth process! ... show more

I bought this with caution because its significantly cheaper than the name brand stuff (less than half the price) - so i didnt expect name brand quality. But its actually really good stuff! Its sparkly, adhesion gets a thumbs up and it cuts well!! Its a little thinner than the name brand stuff (but doesnt look/feel cheap on projects) so if you use my tips, it’ll save you the headaches i had (see below). But now that i have it figured out, i would definitely buy it again! (The picture shows it compared to the name brand stuff. The purple shirt is this brand. The blue shirt is the name brand stuff) PROTIPS! I use a silhouette cameo. Because its a little thinner, it kinda got kinked up from the pressure of the roller as it was feeding through my machine (and the roll edge got caught at the top on the mechanics of the machine). Do this and it will save you A LOT OF HEADACHE!!! Tape it to a cut mat!! I use blue painter tape. Tape about a quarter of an inch on the top and sides (i just left the bottom/excess rolled). Make sure to leave an allowance on your design that you create. It come with a cut setting sheet but heres what i use and it works perfect: heat transfer glitter, cut setting dial 3, speed 4, force 25, passes 1 (mirror cut). When you load it, be sure to use the LOAD CUT MAT setting. Happy crafting!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. OVERALL: I do recommend. Great product, great price. Be cautious weeding with thin designs or lettering BREAKDOWN: - Shimmer and glitter looks great. Reflective and not tacky looking (in my opinion). It is textured. - Little glitter flakes will stay on the clear transfer paper when weeding. This is ok, it does not flake off everywhere and make a mess, and it did not adhere or fall off onto my project. Loose glitter is not an issue (yay! I was concerned about this) - When cutting with a cricut (or other machine, I used my cricut) be sure to follow the settings and instructions included to ensure a clean cut. - I did not use an iron press/ shirt press to apply my iron ons, I used a regular iron and it worked great! I heated the koozie for 5 seconds, then held down and pressed with a little weight for 15-20 seconds, checked the corner of my design, pressed again with the iron for 15-20 seconds, and it applied great!! - My design is tiny and uses thin lettering (in pictures). The overall design was 2.5 inches. I did not have any problems with the cut, but when it came to weeding, I did have to move slower than I typically do with regular iron on vinyl at the thin letter part. This could simply be due to the texture of the glitter iron on vinyl, or the fact that the texture and the thinner lettering teamed up and forced me to be more cautious. I still would recommend this vinyl, it was not a major weeding issue, but rather just a don’t rush it thing. ... show more
