I always recommend the budget team for shows these batteries - they have always arrived on short notice which is great when we're working on a large show with many transmitters, wireless controllers, etc, and run into an emergency. You can get 10-20x the batteries for the same price if you get batteries from CVS. Because each battery is only used for one show, I haven't experienced any batteries dying - they've always lasted for my use case. These batteries are OK. Just OK. Not great. While they're significantly better than no-name brand batteries from a 24-hour gas station, they're definitely not as good as a Duracell or Energizer, and that's obvious in their price. I'd recommend them for remote controls or any typical household appliance. I would not recommend them for smoke detectors or remote thermostats because they'll fail more quickly than the name-brands. I would estimate that these deliver about 70-80% the longevity of a comparable name-brand alkaline battery. ... show more

Batteries have always been a scarce commodity in my house - AA-sized batteries especially. My children like to play games, and they will go through batteries amazingly fast, and then complain when they run out. Buying batteries at any store - Walmart, CVS, etc. is quick but expensive. These batteries are - well, batteries but a whole bunch of them. I put them away and now always seem to have enough to go around, at least for a few months. These Amazon batteries seem to last as long as any other more expensive brand names but are much cheaper. You just have to plan a little bit so as not to run out - but running out is more difficult if you have bought 150 of them! ... show more
