This shredder works fantastic! It has a large container to collect the shredded paper, and a special spot to shred credit cards. The cross hatch shredder cuts the paper into pretty small pieces, which I really like. It’s a nice shredder for a good price!

I've used this for 30-minute intervals 6 times now without a hitch other than it shutting down once after I went over 30 minutes as the manual said it would. This is a very nice shredder. I opted for a higher sheet capacity and paid about $20 more but totally worth it for how smoothly and quickly this machine operates.     • Quite the little workhorse

It’s a lot smaller than I thought it would be. That said it does a great job. I got the 8 page crosscut. If I do 8 pages it overheats (gets tired) much more quickly than If I stick to 4-5. It handles small staples like a champ. Do NOT shred film negatives tho. It melts them and they gum up the teeth. Ad says it can shred credit cards. Mine is persnickety when choosing which ones it will handle and which ones make it throw a fit. I discovered if I put the CC between a folded piece of paper (just one card and one piece of paper) it can handle it well. When it does overheat (I’m shredding documents from my folks going back to the early 1960’s🤦🏻♀️) it needs a 30 min break to calm down and then it’s ready to go again. Also gives me a break from sitting bent over feeding it. I do wish it had a bigger bucket/tub so I didn’t have to stop so often to enjoy it! But I’d buy it again in a heartbeat👍🏻 ... show more

This shredder is basic and just fine. It's about the size of my waste basket, so a small footprint. Occasionally, I'll have stacks to shred but for my needs the time it takes is not a problem.

I have had this shredder for a year now. It has been great and I had no complaints until last week. DO NOT put your credit card where it says to. It jammed it up and just stopped completely. I was able to fix it after letting it sit for awhile and it works wonderful for paper again. But I will never make the mistake of putting a credit card in there again. After several months only one half of the shredder was working. I read the trouble shooting information and used the oil as instructed. The machine now works perfectly. Like any other new Machine, you should always read the instruction first, not when you have difficulty. I almost returned it, glad that I didn’t. I would definitely buy again ... show more
