I love Blueberry collars. They are high quality with great features. I have another one that is padded on the inside, that I love. I wanted one that's reflective for my dog to wear while he travels with us on vacation. The reflective material works great & enough of it glows to make the dog very visible. And the material itself glows, it's not a coating that can scratch/wear off. I also like the double rings for security. Basically, the plastic buckle closure could break if he pulls hard enough on a regular collar. If I clip a leash on both rings on this collar, it's not going to break. And this has the dedicated ID tag ring. It's away from the rings you clip the collar to so it doesn't make noise. It's a securely sewn cloth piece with a sturdy plastic clip. See pictures. I've never had a problem with the integrity of this. The material of the collar is soft enough to be comfortable, but tough enough that it looks like it will hold up well. It's the same material on both sides. It does not loosen or tighten on its own. I ordered a medium for my 65# Boxer & it fits well. It is a little thinner width wise than my other Blueberry collar, but still a good width. Overall, it's a well made comfortable collar with great features. I'm very satisfied. ... show more

I have a young Basenji/Pit mix. She is extremely strong and has managed to tear up 2 collars, one with a plastic buckle (she completely broke the buckle when she was on her tie-out) and another with a traditional belt buckle (hubby accidently looped tie-out clip through one of the metal buckle holes and she completely messed up the little metal piece causing it to fall off). Anyways, after searching for what seemed like forever I came across this collar. I was initially drawn to it because of the bright colors, but then I saw all the awesome features. I like that it has the white reflective material on it, as my sweet girl is black, so this makes it easier to see her whenever we let her out to do her business at nighttime...but it also helps for those times when she gets out and it's dark so that she is more easy to see/find. The collar is well constructed with quality materials. The biggest selling point for me was the double d-rings, as I felt for those times when we have to put her on the tie-out having two rings to connect the tie-out buckle through would prevent her from breaking the plastic buckle on her collar. I also liked the little extra piece to put her tags on. The sizing for this collar is very versatile. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality collar for their fur baby! ... show more

I don't normally review things so quickly. I haven't had the collar for long but overall I'm already very satisfied. The double d-ring is awesome!! It's something I've even thought about several times over the years but I've been unable to find anyone that could make it for me (for a reasonable price). There are a couple of things of course I wish were different. One, I wish I could get a large size (width-wise) in the medial length. My dog's neck is apparently not as wide but she's still a large dog. The large size would be perfect if it fit. The medium fits perfectly fine. I just wish it was a little bit beefier. I'm planning on contacting the manufacturer and asking them to make that an option in the future. Only time will tell how long it will last. My dog likes to pull and is pretty strong. I prefer a collar over a harness so I have high hopes for this collar and love the design. It looks good as well, interesting color combinations. I'll try to add some pics when I come back to update this review. ... show more

I ordered this for my three-year-old heeler. It looks great on her and fit perfectly. HOWEVER- she just got a new sister- a three month old pitbull mix who took to pulling on her collar to play causing the collar to fray. Just want to say that I just love this brand collar for my dog! The last one I bought was maybe 2-3 years ago and it wasn't even in need of replacement. I bought a new one for a color change. I kept the other one to change out at bath time as well. My dog is very active and spunky and this collar works so well for her. There is no slippage with the double hooks and I always feel safe knowing she cant break loose in this collar! Highly recommend! ... show more

We first ordered the purple/blue (Medium) for our blue heeler, lasted 8 months until started to tear off the part where the tags are attached, she moves a lot, plays hard, runs and loves to get wet every time we go hiking. The collar impressively lasted more than I thought, I love that the tags are not in the rings for the leash and that has double rings, makes me feel secure. This time we ordered pink to make her look more lady-like lol, everyone thinks she is a boy when we walk her not sure why. I will keep the post updated with this new collar. ... show more

I ordered 2 of these, one for my LBD and one for my cockerchow. Both fit perfectly,& I love the double loops for the leash. The double loops prevent the pulling of the connection claps which means no yanking and wearing out the connection then my first babies breaking loose. They also have a special hook for tags. It’s thick plastic instead of metal, which I think will stop jingles when the tags arrive that I ordered to match. This piece is not close to the leash loops. I like the double metal loops on each side of the plastic buckle. It keeps the stress off the buckle when they are on the leash or tied outside because the clip goes through both loops. It has lasted our our black Lab for over a year and a half, and now I got one for our silver Lab who has been hard on collars. I like the reflective strips on the collar because I live in a busy area and it makes the dogs a little more visible in the evening when I walk them. Also, unlike other collars I have bought, when I get it adjusted to the correct size for my dog, she hasn’t managed to work it looser so she can slip out of it.
