    • Straps are useless, thin soles, no support, and miserable to remove. Save your money.
I really wish I hadn’t worn these to mow the lawn so they could be returned. I had SUPER high hopes for these given the mostly positive reviews. I intended to use these during my near daily outside plant, lawn, and garden work, so when they arrived today just before it was time to mow, I eagerly pulled them on. Well, I was immediately let down by how the straps absolutely WOULD NOT stay closed. All I did for them to come undone was walk from one end of my 1100sqft house to the other. My calf doesn’t even require the panel to expand fully or even hardly at all, but the tiniest bit of stress with each step against the buckle causes the straps to come undone. I mentioned my extreme letdown to my husband, who said he could probably rivet the strap in place for me, which isn’t super visually appealing, but if that was the only issue with them, fine, I’d deal. So I wore them to mow and weed eat, which took about 2hrs, and my feet are THROBBING. There’s basically no support, plus the soles seem super thin given how much I could feel through the footbed, like when I’d step on mulchy or rocky areas of my property. Removing them was an ordeal, too. Most of the rubber boots I’ve owned in the past had a bit of reinforcement in the heels to allow for how people frequently remove rubber boots—by sort of stepping on the heel with the other boot. Nope, not these guys! There’s no reinforcement there, so it’s basically impossible to use the other foot to drag the boot off. My brother in law had to help me; ridiculous. I might see if I can wash these pieces of crap up to new shape and return them, but I put them through a good lot this afternoon, so I don’t see that happening. If you want rubber boots for utility, this ain’t it. Save your money and go to Tractor Supply or something. ... show more

I wanted to love these boots. They are cute and one of the few I could find to fit my thick calves. I have only had them for less than 3 weeks and have only worn them to water the garden - nothing rigorous- and have maybe worn them a dozen times, if even that many. Today as I am rinsing the mud off, I notice my left foot is getting wet and discovered they are already starting to split apart at the seam along the heel, which made me really sad. Description stated " EXTRA WIDE". The width is only "WIDE". My calf is 17 inch. (Wide) and these are tight in me with the buckle undone. I always order WIDE CALF on my boots so I was surprised these were tight considering the description stated " Extra Wide". Thank You

    • You’ll end up returning this is you have wide legs
Well made boot and it’s cute but the engineering went wrong. It’s got an allowance for really wide calves but the belt doesn’t adjust at all so it just falls off. Additionally the foot part is small but then after the ankle it just sags. It’s as if my calf is too tight in the middle but the ankle is just saggy and loose. I returned it after trying them on. Didn’t even have to walk around my apartment to see how badly thought out they are. ... show more

I have wide feet but not particularly wide calves. It’s formerly been very difficult to find boots that didn’t look ridiculously large on my legs. So roomy that they jiggle and make noises with every step. BUT THIS BRAND IS DIFFERENT! It’s wide in the foot but not too wide in the calf. It’s a perfect balance. They are not too heavy either. I can’t speak for how they hold up over time yet. My last pair of a different brand lasted me two years and only retired them because I accidentally split them. But so far so good! ... show more

I have wide feet. It's impossible to find cute shoes in my size. I was so excited to find these! The boots fit perfectly. For those people with wider calves, these boots are adjustable. I thought these boots were super cute and ordered them hoping to wear them around the farm. When I got them the make of them was so poor on one of the boots. As you can see in the pictures the rubber cuts were very jagged and did not line up evenly as they did on the other boot. And just for reference the straps on the sides do nothing as soon as you put your foot in a pop right off if you have a wider calf. My calf fit the boots fine but it looks awkward that the two buckle pieces just dangle there. ... show more

    • Overall, pretty good product. Straps don't work though.
I wanted cute rain boots that fit my calves and kept me dry. This product hits all those marks for me. The material is thick and keeps my feet dry. I'd say it has average comfort, like majority of rainboots, they get hot after wearing them for a while, but after putting my inserts in them they're just as comfortable as my tennis shoes. I have large calves, and honestly I was afraid these wouldn't fit. They almost don't, but they do. They sit right on that part of my leg that starts to get a little bigger. I do have one major complaint. The straps on the side are not at all functional, with any movement the strap slides out so it does nothing for tightening the boot if thats what you want. I had to put packing tape on the ends of the straps so they wouldn't slide back out. Other than that they are cute and work for my needs. I will continue to wear these, and believe it was a decent purchase. ... show more
