  • Affordable compact Sleeper or extra seat for a teen to moderate sized adult.
Comes ready to use right out of the box, it's a nice budget friendly option for an extra leisure chair or occasional sleeper bed when on a trip. I have used it several times on trips and I'm around 5'10 and 215 lbs, it was comfortable enough to sleep through the night, though I feel anyone much taller or larger might not find this suitable. Most of the time I use it as an extra chair in my game room. I have found that over time (around 2 years depending on use) it tends to wear down and lose comfort, but for the price and the material, it's to be expected. It's not very fancy, but does it's job well. ... show more

  • Peace of Mind and Versatility
I was looking for a small space chair I could convert to a bed for sleepless nights in the nursery after baby arrives. Originally, I was considered tri-fold floor/gaming chairs, but ultimately decided although they could fit under the crib at 4" deep, only 1/3 as opposed to about 1/2 the depth of a mattress wouldn't cut it. (Our son didn't sleep through the night consistently until 3.5 yrs.) I probably could have put the crib on bed risers and put this chair under it, but opted to leave it out so our son can read bedtime stories to his baby sister with me/dad/both. Our son loves this chair already, and I plan to move it into his room once it is no longer needed in the nursery (reason for purchasing neutral gray color). Given my particular nature and door/entryway/electrical outlet constraints, I had a hard time finding a spot for it in the nursery. After researching online, creating a small conversation/reading nook was the best option. Only problem was it looked off balance because the height of this chair is lower than the height of the glider. Luckily, I had some exercise steps laying around that I had used as a stool for placing our son back in the crib as a newborn (I am only 4'10".) Voila removable chair feet/platform! I may need to buy more exercise steps as a stool for baby girl, but they should be inexpensive and can be purchased used. As far as comfort, I haven't slept on it yet, but like others have said, the cushions are very firm. My husband said the chair was "really uncomfortable". However, he is not a heavy guy and at 36 weeks pregnant and post partum when getting in and out of chairs is tough, firm is a plus for me. Also, I hate waking up on deflating air mattresses so I'll take too firm over too soft. You can always buy a mattress topper to customize to your liking and it may soften over time. 6 month update: I removed the exercise steps for stability, and because aesthetics are much less important post partum. Although, the reading nook does give it a cozy welcoming feel. I haven't had any issues with it being too firm. I have slept on it multiple times and so has my mom. She loves the elevated head of it for her night-time acid reflux. She just bought one for my dad who usually sleeps on couch cushions on the floor due to his bad back. However, he is 5'9 so she is exchanging for the 72 or 75" one. ... show more

  • Nice, small fold up bed to chair
I wanted to get an extra bed for guests. We have air mattresses but the air keeps coming out of them and they take awhile to blow up. I saw this and looked great. I keep it in a chair position in my office. Sometimes when my back hurts, I will pull it out and lay down awhile. It is light to move and velcros to stay in sitting position. You just unvelcros and pull up into a bed. The pillow part is a little high for me. The bed is firm. The only downside is that it is narrow. It is much narrower than a twin. So I might fall off if asleep. Sheets would be really big on it. I guess you could tuck under. Getting two of these side by side would be nice. This would be perfect for kids' rooms to have sleepovers. I am glad I got it. Works for me. 🙂 ... show more

  • Grandson had to have one like the one he slept on at our house!
I bought mine several years ago for a week at girls camp as an advisor. Our grandson came to visit from Idaho and wanted to sleep on it. Well, he loved it and I bought him his own for Christmas. He said it was his favorite present and has replaced his twin bed with it in his room.

  • Comfortable
I purchased two gray chairs to use in a small step-down area in my living room that faces a fireplace. My husband and I love how comfy they are. They have a modern /contemporary look which works great with my other furnishings. The company is professional and easy to communicate with.

  • The fabric feels awful
I bought this to supplement the "Japanese style futon" I was already using. (The Japanese futon is basically just a thin mattress you can roll up and get out of the way. The mattress turned out to be too thin for me.) The foam futon is pretty comfortable, but I should have gone for one that was a little wider. The only real mark against this futon is that the fabric is a scratchy nightmare if you have sensory issues. I recommend covering it with more pleasantly textured blankets or a sheet. ... show more

  • Great modular chair. Manage your expectations.
We bought these for our kids treehouse, where they watch movies, play games, craft and color. These chairs fit perfectly into the small space, and transform into beds for sleepovers. They are nice and firm! Although we have them against the far window wall for space reasons, they had good support on the small chair back, held by velcro straps, so they don't need to be by a wall. HOWEVER I saw some reviews here saying the foam is soft, or the velcro doesn't hold the back...I had no such problems. #1 First, you can adjust the velcro to hold the back down firmly (some reviews i read before buying said it was flimsy...you have to actually adjust placement of velcro!) . #2 keep in mind this chair is FOAM, so don't think its made from wood frames where the back is completely supported (manage your expectations). #3 this is meant for small spaces or extra seating or bed so read and select the size you need...it is lower to the ground modern seating (there were some reviews I read before buying saying it was too small). Once you've read the info and managed your expectations that this is foam...not wood frame furniture, and its meant for extra seating, modular bedding, kids spaces, I think it's perfect in terms of seating, bed. I have looked elsewhere, but for the price, color, size selection, the thickness and firmness of the foam chair is perfect. ... show more
