Mothers Gold Clay bar system sold me on the importance of using clay on the paint of my airplane. Getting any impurities that settle on your paint make s a great paint job stay great. I didn’t how much crap was on my paint until I used this clay. Even though you’ll hear of other clays costing less, you won’t find many other professsional grade clays work better than what comes in this kit. I have a white truck and it gets brake dust and other particles on it which are hard to remove. I generally use rubbing compound. which also can remove some paint. This seems to remove the onidation just by using a little water and rubbing the clay over it. It's still a job if you have alot of particles like I did, but I thinks it's easier than the rubbing compound and saves on the paint job.. The detailer can be used with the clay, but water works just as good. The detailer I used to remove particles on the roof which wouldn't come off with soap and water. Then I used Mothers paste wax to make it look like new again. Very satisfied. ... show more

Removed reddish stains that had been on my white fiat 500 since I bought it used that were all over the hatchback. It's a 2012 that I bought in 2019 and used this product in 2023. So as far as I'm concerned it's great!

The clay can be hard to knead mainly I think because of the size. It was my first time doing this, so it all seemed a little intimidating at the beginning because I did not want to damage my car. But overall, it worked great.
