Do not buy for toddler 3-4 yeard old. The cardboard panels back and sides are very thin and flimsey - windows open which is great but fall out of slots, stackable plastic holders/slots come apart. Instead of being 1 plastic atackable pullar it has 3 one outs together. Cardboard keeps falling out of slots. Very hard to assemble. Furniture easy to assemble and is great.     • Must be glued together
I have now built this dollhouse twice. While I still believe it was a value-buy, I wish I would have known from the start that it should be glued together. I don't understand why they chose to make each structural column 3 separate pieces. Why not just make it 1 long sturdy piece? But then I realized, by doing that they could increase the number of pieces included to sell more dollhouses. That marketing ploy seriously degrades the structural stability of the entire house. However, upon building it a second time, I hot-glued every single piece and wall together, including and especially the 3-piece columns. NOW my God daughter can actually enjoy her new dollhouse without feeling like she's going to break it every time she touches it. Every time I see her these days, she lights up and tells me how much she loves her dollhouse!! So take my advice, buy this dollhouse, but glue it together, don't expect it to just "snap" together and stay that way. ... show more

It was semi easy to put together but the sturdiness is questionable. The slide part always falls off and if someone is actually going to play with it I expect it to crumble :( The price was right, and was easy to build though!

this is a really cute barbie house, but some of the pieces do not latch and stay together so i am going to have to super glue them. the slide will not stay attached without popping off. the stairs are the same. this house is also too small for normal sized barbie dolls, however it is perfect for kid barbie dolls or other little figurines. my toddler uses it for her bluey and peppa pig and mickey mouse figurines and she loves it. i am however a little disappointed that some of the wall pictures are all the same background. overall it’s a cute barbie house, but i am returning it and buying a wooden one. after a week and a half, it’s just too flimsy. pieces still won’t stay together, it’s very wobbly, we can’t even use the slide. the barbie “dresses” have no straps and as my 3yo said, “her boobies are showing”. (who puts toddler dolls in dresses like that anyways?) the cardboard backgrounds keep popping out. the thing doesn’t latch together so all the rooms come detached. spend the extra money and get a nice one. this isn’t worth it. ... show more
