I only use 100% cotton on my beds, as I don't like the feel of microfiber or polyester. These seem a little thin for 600 thread count, but are very soft and feel good on my skin. I have had many, many duvet covers over decades. I’ve even made a few! This one(white) is fabulous! It is very soft & smooth to the touch. It is also very light! One of the reasons to use a down comforter is it’s lightness. Many duvet covers are heavier fabric & weigh the down comforter down. This one, I’m pleased to say does not! I love it. Not sure if it’s really 600 thread count. I don’t know 600 thread count to compare it to. However, it is so warm and soft that I have no complaints. I stuffed it with a Martha Stewart 100% cotton shell - down fill duvet. A cloud. I will say this though… the pillow cases that I ordered with it are large enough for me to wear as a night gown. I've been on the hunt for a reasonably priced duvet cover for a hand-me-down duvet that is bright red. Unfortunately this duvet is soft and easy to get onto the duvet but the fabric is too thin and the red duvet is visible through the cover.

Easy to wash at home, very good quality. The color is a rich, dark blue. If I could find a down comforter of this color I may have bought that, but I think this cover adds some softness to the comforter, and will be easier to keep clean. Good product
