The product is priced well and the seller shipped quickly. My first one had a large dent in the front upon unboxing. The return was fairly painless, just had to take the freezer to a FedEx to return. My second was in perfect condition upon arrival. The only annoying thing is they use a sticker on the front, directly on the stainlessz that states that the unit needs to remain upright after transport for 4 hours, which is good BUT the sticker is made like one that is never intended to be removed. I received this item 21 days after ordering. I had to change the door so that it opened to the left. The instruction that came with the freezer did not share how to do this in an adequate manner. The door grommet kept catching on the edge of the metal casing. initially the door grommet would not settle correctly. Either one corner or the other would not completely seal. That is until I finally got it correct. After an hour of operation my digital infrared thermometer gave a reading of minus 11.9 degrees F. For those fans of the I.U. that is about -24 degrees C. This is with the temp control set (from the factory) at '4'. I think this is cold enough for me! The temperature control on my freezer is located on the rear right. The instructions that came from the company say that this freezer must be defrosted. Also, that the unit has an interior defrost pan that must be drained into a regular pan. This is not correct for my unit. The interior is some kind of plastic and is completely sealed. So, for all of the differences between what is claimed in the instructions and what I found....This unit is awarded a '4' star overall. After much back and fourth with customer service I received this mini freezer. The box did not say "Kismile" the box was labeled "AntarticStar" ok didnt care about names. To my suprise it had no dents on any side. The packing is very thin in on all sides and bottom. I left it untouched in one place for two days. Monday june 28th I plugged it in. Set the thermostat to number '4' and kept it there for the required 24 hours. I put in some ice to test the freezing. It took a bit of time to freeze the cubes solid. June 29th I placed a pre frozen pkg of chicken legs in the freezer to see if they would get soft or thaw out, but no, as of today the legs are still frozen solid. As of june 30th things look very positive for this mini freezer. It's very cold on setting 4. I will amend this review once i begin to store frozen foods in it. But soo far its looks GOOD. Update 8-23-21 I'm changing my review to a "strong buy" this mini freezer does a good job of quickly freezing meat. Is had kept things cold without any problems. But to be fair it's a choir to defrost. Be ready with a lot of towels when you manually defrost it. What a wet wet mess. ... show more

Could fit quite a lot of frozen dinners in it. Worked great for 2 years. I was in the kitchen when it all of a sudden started a loud buzzing from the back. Stopped working. Would expect it to work longer than 2 years.

Who hasn't needed just a little extra freezer space from time to time, especially during the pandemic? But we also didn't want a larger chest freezer so when we saw this form factor and Kismile's reviews we went for it. Overall, it's performing to our expectations and is a great value for the price. It cooled down quickly, holds the temperature steady, it's very quiet and the size is just right. The only negative, which is the reason I docked one star, is the top coils quickly developed frost near the door seals. I had read other reviews mentioning the same, and one specifically attributed to the door seals and how they added a rolled up plastic bag to improve the seal, I'll have to try that but wish I didn't need to, it should be a solved problem in the 21st century. Otherwise, almost one month in and we're happy with the purchase. ... show more
