  • Comfy and easy to assemble!
Color: White
This is by far the comfiest chair I've ever sat in! I never knew a gaming chair could be so comfortable! The moment I sat in it, I didn't want to get up and I almost fell asleep! I couldn't find the instructions at first, and got it halfway put together before I found them on the bottom of the bottom of the chair lol the massage pillow could be a little stronger, but works just fine. All in all, 10/10 recommend! Update: The massager stopped working after a day. ... show more

  • Not bad average chair with a few flaws
Color: Grey
Have had this chair for 6 months now, time for a time tested review. With the covid situation this past year and working from home, needed a new ergo chair to replace my 6 yr old Costco $99 chair. In looking and reviewing many different chairs had some requirements which this chair satisfied, incorporated in the pro/con below. Pro: 1. Have a slightly higher than normal desk, most chairs do not raise high enough (on avg seat height is 17-18") this chair met my first requirement of raising to 23". 2. I also purchased different wheels to attach during assembly (which gave about 1" of additional height), also they roll better on hardwood then the typical cheap wheels that come with chairs. 3. Seat width slightly wider, I'm not a large guy (34" waist) just like the room, as I am sitting almost all day in the chair with work. 4. Decent lumbar support for my body and is somewhat adjustable. 5. Armrest height decent for being a fixed type (non-adjustable). 6. Sliding leg rest is not too bad. Not something I use, the few times I have it was comfortable. Especially if you lean back. 7. Head rest is decent as well works for me so no major complaints there. Con. 1. Stitching in the seat area starting to come out. See attached picture. Would have at least expected a year before any stitching would start to unravel. This actually started about 2 months ago so the chair was only about 4 months in use. My cheap Costco chair lasted over 2 years before stitching started coming out. 2. See other 2 pictures, on one side the seat wing broke couple weeks ago comparing to the other picture on how it should look. Again I'm not a big person, I do sometimes sit with a foot up under my knee. This was not expecting to break, it is mostly cosmetic, more disappointing. 3. As someone else mentioned the seat padding is minimal and after sitting daily on it for 6 months, it is mostly flattened. I did have a previous chair pad that I will need to pull out and use on it. 4. Although the armrests are decent height for me, I do wish they adjusted. Also as others have reported they are a hard plastic and very uncomfortable bare. I saw that in the reviews and purchased memory foam pads for them so that made them acceptable. 5. The vibrating lumber support is a joke. As I mentioned in the pro the pad itself is decent and works for me. As another reviewer stated it is more like a trickle. Tried it once and have not again. 6. The gas shock appears to be starting to slightly leak. Couple times here lately I have started getting that slow sinking feeling and realized the chair was slowly going down. Does not do it all the time, but has several times. Overall the chair is decent and do like the height it offers. Will see how long it actually does last. ... show more

  • Not worth the money, not worth the hassle
Color: White
Context: I am a 6'1 male with an athletic build. This chair is extremely uncomfortable and does not fit me. The pad you sit on gives no support and you can feel the bars under you butt as you sit. With and without the massaging pillow, it kills my back after an hour or two. It is not ergonomic at all. I never use the leg rest because it feels like it will break at any moment. When I got the chair, I couldn't get the screws to go into the back of the chair to mount the bottom to the top. This was because the holes were drilled incorrectly and incompletely. Leaving metal blockages in the chair that prevented the screw from going in all the way. Mind you, these were not just floating pieces of metal, but rather metal protrusions that were not drilled out in the manufacturing process. So the back of the chair will wiggle back and forth. Another chief complaint of mine is that the arm rests are wholly uncomfortable and give no support. At this point they just get in the way of my desk. They are not adjustable so they just remain at the same height no matter what. Not to mention, they can't articulate to move and support the arm, so if you need to put your hands in a different orientation that straight in front of you, you get the arm rests digging into your forearms. The backrest of the chair has no padding at all, and you can feel the plastic/metal rods in the back of the chair at all times. The racing aspect of the chair, and cants at a 45 degree angle, just forces your shoulders forward because there is not enough room to put your whole back against it. So your spine is touching the back of the chair, while your shoulders are jetted forward by the canted chair parts. It seems like it was supposed to "hug" your body, but rather causes the most discomfort. I had to get a pad to put on the chair to help me keep a somewhat ergonomic position, while not killing my butt by sitting on it. The chair came in a larger box (as expected) so after putting the chair together and realizing it was garbage, just taking the monetary loss on it and not dealing with returning it was the better option for me. Save your money and get one of the gaming chairs available at Costco, or get an office chair made for ergonomics at something like Staples. The "massaging" chair back rest, is just a dinky vibration unit inside some padding that is weakly supported by elastic straps and plastic clips. The cord to power it isn't long enough to plug into anything outside of a 3 ft/ vicinity. The "massaging" it does is like someone is just grabbing you by the lower back and shaking you really hard. It changes your voice when you talk, and that is about the most novel thing about it. The actual headrest seems to just get in the way and make the chair even less ergonomic, forcing your head forward into a Denzel Crocker (from Fairly Odd Parents) position. The only pro for this chair so far, is that it has supported my weight just fine and actually does roll around as I need. Outside of that, everyone who sits in it hates it and complains how uncomfortable my chair is. My recommendation: avoid this chair. ... show more
