I am using the Mevo Plus and Mevo Boost to stream church services, I needed a USB microphone to plug into the Mevoas the Mevo microphone is kind of weak with less-than-stellar sound quality. To be honest, I was a little worried that a microphone meant for podcasts would work. However, once we got the gain set properly, it works great. I am currently using the cardioid pattern exclusively. Because of the room acoustics, I still pick up crying babies and such, but at least I'm only capturing reflected sound. Mic is great. Haven’t played the game and probably never will but it was cheaper then the mic without the game? Lol. Took a fall off my desk already unfortunately but besides a very small indent on the mesh part it held up well through it which is surprising for how heavy it is.

All I have ever used before my Yeti was mics built into "gaming headsets". Previous mics did not sound like my actual voice at all but the Yeti actually sounds like me whether I am recording audio or just talking to friends in discord. Well worth the money.

    • Hassle to Activate Ghost Recon Bundle - Yeti Mic Is Excellent, However
The Yeti product itself is great. Love the mic. Pickup and quality is excellent. The only gripe I have is that it uses an outdated USB connection for power, rather than a micro or USB-C, so I hope I don't lose the cord. My main issue is that I purchased two of these bundles in late November and when I tried to redeem one, it turns out the bundled game promotion ended in October. Blue hasn't provided any response so far and waiting also on the seller. Would give this product 5 stars but don't like bait and switch as I could have purchased it for less without the worthless bundle and it's not really going to make a great Christmas present now, considering the box promotes the Ghost Recon bundle (which no longer can be activated). Updated Review: Bumping this to 4 Stars. I was able to get a hold of UbiSoft support, who provided an alternate URL for activation, which worked. Also the seller responded to my initial review and offered assistance. Sadly, still zero word from Blue despite emailing support or trying their account on Twitter. If you ever do need support, Blue doesn't seem to be very responsive. ... show more

Absolutely love this mic!! It is definitely a quality mic. A number of people told me about Yeti mics but I was missing out until now. Crisp recording and no distortion at all. I highly recommend yeti mics. You won't be disappointed!
