We had a faucet setup that we disliked since we bought the house. Finally, we splurged and got this beautiful Delta faucet because of features and that it covered 3 of the countertop holes. The fourth hole was filled with the "InSinkErator Modern Instant Hot and Cold Water Dispenser Faucet, Chrome, F-HC3300C", fed by a "InSinkErator HWT-F1000S, One Size, Silver" (they are both awesome). Together, they are lovely to behold. Installation was fine. It was tight quarters, but I knew that going in. I needed a couple fittings to work with the hot water heater and filter. I expected that too. There are some oddities of the installation (yes, the batteries really do sit on the bottom of the cabinet), but it went very smoothly. We loved the faucet enormously for about a month. The voice control is not worth it, IMO. We use Google Home, and the control is a kludge. If you ever used "IF THIS, THEN THAT", you get the gist. Awkward. Everything else is fantastic: high flow rater, great controls, excellent retraction of the sprayer, fun LED, and especially the touch on/off. Then randomly, the touch activation stopped working. Literally, I touched it to fill the kettle and 15 seconds later touched it and nothing happened. Lots of touching later with no results, I consulted Delta's website. I followed the reset instruction, no love. I unplugged it, removed the batteries, nothing. Understand, that when it stops working, the actual handle may not work either. Also exciting are the phantom ons during this period. We now habitually leave the water in the on position so that we can touch it to turn on. The phantom ons means that the water just starts running with no one in the area. "Cool". :-( I was about to box it up and return it as broken (reading reviews here, Delta "support" is more frustrating than the problem) when it suddenly began working again. Easy go, easy come? It worked again for about two weeks and then suddenly stopped responding to touchs. And then it started working again, randomly. A couple tips: * Sometimes the touch will stop working on the neck of the faucet. Try touching the base or handle, and they might work. * The same "voice" capability lets you use a basic website to control the faucet. If you bookmark that webpage on your phone, you can turn off the faucet from your sofa when the phantoms start happening. They'll happen every 5-30 minutes when you start, but if you have a cat on your lap and don't want to get up to manually turn off the valve, you can do this. Right now, we are 60/40 on the pro/con scale. When it works, it is awesome. Its beautiful and functions so nicely. That's what makes the troubled times so awful. Next time, we won't get the "voice" function and maybe not the touch feature. ... show more

I have used this product since 2016, and never had any issues with it not working, it's a game changer as far as only having to touch it to turn it off and on. Also hooked up the voice thing to Alexa so can ask Alexa to turn it off, on, fill up different sizes, hot or cold.

    • The connections are faulty, fail, and cause excessive leakage.
We paid $500 (plus installation) for this supposed top the line faucet. in September 2020 and have just (February 2022) replaced it. with another brand. The connections under the sink failed and the faucet leaked, without our knowledge, causing extensive damage to the flooring under the sink and the ceiling of the room below. The plumber who fixed the problem said he used to be a Delta rep, but he now recommends Moen or Kohler. He said the Delta faucet could not be repaired because of the design so we chose a different brand (Moen) for the replacement.
