  • Doesn’t work with Bluetooth audio transmitter
Color: Navy Size: One Size Style: Elite 45h
First, the good news: these have solid sound quality for on-ear headphones. The volume gets reasonably loud, though nothing extreme, and the overall sound is quite good for the price. There’s an app it allows you to tweak the EQ, and do a few other things like update the firmware. It worked flawlessly. The headphones connected easily and quickly to my Android phone, my iPad Pro, and my Apple TV. Everything worked as expected...until I tried connecting it to the thing I actually bought them to connect to: my Anker SoundSync Bluetooth transmitter. I tried everything I could think of, including three factory restores on these headphones, but after an initial successful connection to the Bluetooth transmitter, I couldn’t get it to connect again no matter what I tried. I don’t know why manufacturers can’t get Bluetooth devices to work better with each other, but it feels like I’ll go to my grave screaming about Bluetooth device is not working properly with each other. 😡 The other negative with these headphones are the fit: while the physical build quality is quite impressive, and the headphone material is incredibly soft, I found that they hurt my head after only 10 minutes of wearing them. So between the poor fit, and the Bluetooth transmitter issue, these headphones are going back to for a refund. ... show more

  • nice pair of at home bluetooth headphones for the price
Color: Navy Size: One Size Style: Elite 45h
I got the Navy pair for $80 at the beginning of October and so far I'm pretty happy (rude that they have now raised the price). For that price, I think the sound quality is pretty good and the headphones are very comfortable. Great battery life too. I like them as a more relaxed alternative to my AirPods Pro, which are in-ear and can give me a headache/ear ache after I wear them for a while. The controls—which are located on the lower back sides of the earcups—take some getting used to, but now that I'm accustomed to them, I haven't had too many issues. They do tend to automatically pair with both my laptop and my phone when I put them in pairing mode, which can make listening to things like spotify and netflix on my phone a little finicky, esp if i have those apps open on my laptop (disconnecting the headphones' bluetooth connection on my laptop solves this issue). Contrary to a bunch of people's reviews, pairing with my 5-year-old MacBook Pro was very easy. Pairing with my iPhone 8 was a little more annoying but after one or two attempts, it worked and no real issues since. I haven't had any serious issues with phone calls, though one person has told me they can hear themselves through my mic. I can hear people on the other end well and find them comfortable for long calls. I think they are better for home/office use because they do tend to slide around. The lack of clamping action—which is what makes them comfy—also means I prob wouldn't use them for commuting (as if I am doing that again anytime soon) or exercising outside. No ANC to speak of, so they don't isolate outside sounds a huge amount, but the on-ear design does some of that work. Overall a thumbs up for wfh life! Especially if you can get them for the lower price. ... show more

  • Not for moving around
Color: Navy Size: One Size Style: Elite 45h
Pros: 1) Very happy with the sound quality and simple sound-shaping app. 2) Handsome design. 3) Very comfortable for ears. Cons: 1) Slips off head easily with any head movement forward or backward. I am a 5'11" man with normally proportioned and positioned features who wears a large hat size; if my ears were any higher on my head, these phones could not adjust to it. ie, small heads will likely find these headphones will not fit to the ears or will be too loose even without moving around. 2) The cluster of 3 buttons controlling volume, pause / go, etc are too close together to be reasonably easy to use, especially for a man's hands. 3) Got a call while listening to a song; the incoming call sound was scratchy AF. Good thing I don't have many friends! For my limited purposes these headphones do the job and reproduce a beautiful sound. (I have wired AudiQuest earphones for audiophile quality listening.) Wouldn't recommend them for more active users. ... show more

  • Surprisingly nice headphones
Color: Navy Size: One Size Style: Elite 45h
I prefer on-ear to over-ear headphones, and that was a factor for me; given the price I wasn't expecting what I got. However (as said in other reviews and implied by the manufacturer), the sound output of these is comparable to MUCH more expensive headphones. It may be superior. I didn't need ANC for the use I had for these (gym, walking), and that may be reflected in the cost. No problem with initial Bluetooth setup or the Android app. ... show more

  • Stopped working with my Mac (M1 Air) . This is an updated review!
Color: Navy Size: One Size Style: Elite 45h
Originally this Connected effortlessly and consistently with both my laptop and phone. I like that I can hear my own voice in the phones too. something Jabra calls Sidetone. They seem to be designed for a stationary person because just bending forward to inspect my screen a little closer and they start to fall off. That's an odd design choice because when I tried to get Jabra support when I began having connection problems with my laptop, I was told these were designed to work with mobile devices and they wont support connectivity problems with a computer. Ive tried every support suggestion but still have crappy audio connection with the Mac. c ... show more

  • Good product for home office
Color: Navy Size: One Size Style: Elite 45h
I have been looking for a noise cancelling headphones for sometime as I had quite a bit of background noise from the street that would produce poor sound quality in meetings. I have tried Jabra 85h (they were heavy on my head), I have tried Sony and Bose, same thing with being heavy. I ended up opting into these as they seemed lighter and on ear vs over the ear, and have been happy so far. They do a good job canceling the noise, not causing pain to my head and neck, and not pressing on my glasses. Sound quality is good. They might not be the best for coffee shop environment or noises such as a barking dog or a crying baby at home, or canceling a noise of a person talking in the room next to you, but they are ideal for a home office that is dedicated to one person (you) with street noise, or other minor constant noises in the house. I like them so far. ... show more
