I gave this cool lil car to my 2 1/2-year-old grandson for Christmas. He comes to my home fairly often and it seems to have held quite up well. I ordered the bluish- turquoise colored one and it’s attractive looking as well, colorful. My grandson certainly likes it; this vehicle teaches him new skills. He’s had to learn how to drive it by judging distance, how fast to go, how not to run into things steering etc. Keeping in mind this is for just a very young child. The max weight for riding it cld’ve been a factor but I got it anyway and his weight hasn’t it bothered it at all!! I wanted some thing he could manage, not too big. He has bigger cars but not riding them like he is riding this car. I’d buy another one & I’d buy from this Co. again. ... show more

    • Overall a very good purchase, but needs improvement on instructions and charging control.
I received this item with a bit of confusion. Originally upon order placement it was scheduled for Dec 22nd delivery thru Prime. 1 day later it was changed to Jan 7th. A few days later it was shipped, and moved back to Dec. 22nd delivery. All good. This was intended as a Christmas gift for a grandson. Outer box had slight damage, inner contents box was fine. The contents box is smaller than the fully assembled quad. Some parts bags are contained within the body, so some further disassembly is needed to remove the bags. Instructions could be better. Mainly, drawings are from the top view. Most of the assembly is required on the underside, for wheels, gearbox, steering, etc. It would be easier to have views from the direction you are looking and working with, rather than flipping and reversing. The drawings are rather small, with a lot of detail, more than necessary for the tasks at hand. I am very mechanically adept, and sometimes had to do a double take on some things. I was happy with the overall quality of the quad in its construction and potential durability. It should last the "little guy" for quite some time. I decided to fully charge it so it would be ready come Christmas day. Initial charge is 18 hours, afterwards 10 hours when depleted. There is no charging indicator light, nor any type of auto cutoff when charging is complete. The manual states that the battery could be damaged, or explode if charging goes beyond 24 hours. My feeling is that this type of protection circuit would add very little to the cost, and be well worth it. I suggest setting some type of timer to remind you of length of time, or to shut off at a specified time just to be safe. Overall, I'm very pleased with it, and glad I bought it. This is my second review because I cannot believe the battery on this toy . I bought this in 2020 and it still works like the day I got it . It is sometimes months in between charging the battery . I left it out in the rain accidentally one day and thought we were doomed , but no . The plastic has held up . There are no chips or cracks . I have to say one the greatest toys I have purchased , and I have 6 children and 4 grandchildren. Hats off to this company!! ... show more

This little patrol bike is so adorable. Came in good condition with very easy instructions. Charged well and was ready for my grand baby boy on Christmas morning. He loooves it. I feel like I make a really good purchase because it seems to be pretty durable.
