It seems like "sport fit" t-shirts don't seem to exist anymore, outside of those specialty brands that charge $50 for a pack of 3. After a lot of trying/returning, I finally came across these. They are true 'form-fitting' around your arms - no gaps or 'wing tips' on the side - and are the closest thing I've found to that "triangular" fit that is a normal width at the shoulders and tapers more inward toward the waist. The material is far more cool than the standard Gildan DryBlend 100% cotton tees (these are a 50/50 Cotton & Polyester blend), and ideal for the gym or sports as you don't feel so overheated. So, originally my mom bought these for my husband at Walmart. He didn’t think he would like them because they seemed too long at first glance. He washed, with bleach like we usually do and they didn’t shrink. So he was still worried. He wore them consistently for a few months and no tears, or threads coming loose. I realized he was wearing these more than his Hanes shirts which is what he has always worn. I bought more last year twice. He absolutely loves the fact that they’re longer. He ticks these in under his work shirt and says they don’t come untucked. I will keep buying these until he retires 😂 seriously they hold so well if you wash with bleach they stay exactly as they are out of the package. 100% recommend ... show more

Bought these because a job I used to have supplied these for us. In the pictures they look like a slim fit that would be flattering to the physique but sadly they weren't slim fit at all like the pictures shown. I bought an XL which should fit me perfect but made me look like I had a dad bod instead. Too big in the abdomen area for sure. ... show more

Like a lot of guys, I saw an ad on Facebook for True Classic Tees. Upon reading the dumpster fire of a comments section, one person mentioned that the True Classic Tees were basically Gildan 1100 style shirts. I cannot confirm nor deny that they're the same but it piqued my interest seeing as the shirts in the ads seemed to be cut for us beer drinkers that go to the gym in mind. After seeing that these were 5 basic tees for $21, I figured I'd try them. I'm 5'11, 220 lbs. I am in shape but I also don't say no to cookies. I ordered an XL as these are 100% cotton. Without washing, they're just a tad too baggy. After washing on cold and drying on low heat, they shrunk down (remember, 100% cotton) to a better fit. I'd recommend ordering a size up but also, sizes are not standard at all for tee shirts in general. I have mediums that I bought 50lbs ago that still fit fine but have larges that are skin tight. If you need basic tees, order a few packs in different sizes, find your fit, and return the incorrect sizes. Really, for $21 for 5 shirts, you can't go wrong. ... show more

Probably can't have too many black t-shirts. These fit well, are made well, and hold up after lots of washings. They don't fade like so many black shirts. Gildan shirts seem to be the best we've found.

These are a good value for the price but should be worn as an undershirt. They are very thin and run a little small so I can't wear them just as a t shirt. I purchased them to use as an under shirt, so I think the value is good for that.

I workout outdoors in Miami weather. This shirt is the perfect thickness. Not too thin that you sweat right through it. Not too thick they you feel like you’re suffocating. XL fit perfectly after the first wash.
