First of all when assembling do not use the silly angle Allen wrench and 10mm wrench included, use a combination 10mm wrench and a cordless drill with Allen tip on magnetic tip holder. Open all boxes first. Remove all parts and lay them out with letters visible. Take 1 of the empty boxes and use as a workbench. Will take another set of hands to hold parts while hand tightening screws. Put all screws in first finger tight before using drill to tighten. Took about an hour to assemble. After my wife changed the layout of seating for about a week, I installed the clips to hold the sections together. Do yourself a favor and spend 10 bucks more to get an extra set of clips. Three clips per union works way better than 2. We also purchased the 2 ottoman storage set that has the removable cushions so u can use as end table or footrest or actual seat. These come pre assembled, just take them out of the box. GREAT place to store the furniture cover that was included with the set. Had set about a month now, no complaints. I have read complaints in other reviews about getting boxes on different days, the rattan not lining up, 6 hours to build!? Furniture moving around.. Belive me was a simple build with drill w/ allen wrench tip on magnetic tip holder and the box end of a 10mm wrench. Also, those sticky things that you put in drawers and toolbox drawers so utensil don't slide when you open drawers hold the cushions from sliding around. Think mine were Rubbermaid brand. Just lay them under the cusions. Cushions are 4 inches thick and comfortable. They are WATER RESISTANT, not water proof. For the 599 I paid, I could not be any more satisfied. BTW, my 2 Morkies, Rocco and Benji simply love the set. They use it way more than we do! Great look, good price! Got our 3 boxes the other day and now after assembling it all and trying it out for 2 nights wanted to leave our initial impressions. ($599 for the brown and tan sectional) Assembly: Not gonna lie it was a pain in the butt. It wasn't difficult, just tedious. Some of the bolt placements were just hard to reach for bigger clumsy hands 😅. But that's all you have to do to assemble, is screw in bolts. So in the end I'd say it's easy but annoying. Quality: I'd say it's a decent quality. Not top of the line but sturdy. No wobbles for any of our sections after testing it out a few days. The wicker has a bit of a plasticy look, but honestly it looks fine to me and if you think it doesn't, why are you looking at a $599 patio set. Comfort: This part is subjective. Cushions are fine, they are 100% not as thin as some other reviewers have said, but they aren't great either. Id say the best way to describe them is you don't feel anything ha. They don't feel like sitting on clouds, but you also don't feel uncomfortable in the slightest. The backs of the chairs are low. For younger people it's fine, but I can see it maybe being an issue for older generations. I'd recommend going to a store that has patio furniture and just finding one that has a similar size back to test out if it's too low for you or not. Thats what we did and decided it was fine. I'd prefer a higher back, but found that almost everything with a larger back is double the price and that difference in comfort wasn't worth paying that much more. I will give it a full knock on the cushions sliding around. This is 100% a legit complaint and will have to try out some velcro to help. Summary: This is a solid set for a great price. As everyone knows patio furniture is expensive and we didn't wanna spend $1500 minimum on a set this large if we bought higher quality brands. I would 100% recommend this set when they are priced between $600-$800. Anything more then that like some of colors of it are priced currently I'd be a bit more hesitant. This has been a longer review, but just wanted to try and provide a full real one when some of the reviews seemed to knock it for not feeling like a $2000 set when they paid 6 or 7 hundred. These reviews almost scared us away but I'm glad we decided to try it. This is as cheap as you will find this large of a sectional set so they should set their expectations accordingly and actually enjoy your purchase! All of our boxes came within 1 day of each other, with no broken pieces so we didn't have to deal with support at all to review, but I can believe they could be a pain like most of these cheaper companies tend to be. ... show more
