    • WORKS GREAT but A BIT HEAVEY
This product did a GREAT work on my hardwood floor. My house was built in the 70s and the original flooring is still there. There's some cracks in it and most of the wax has come off, but dust and dirt still get stuck on what's left of it. I tried everything for 5 years before buying this, and finally my floor is TRULY clean, feels smooth and looks even (before it looked cleaner in some spots and dirtier in others). So, great job. HOWEVER, every now and then the cleaner makes a noise like it has hit something (which it hasn't), it gets annoingly noisy and the noise doesn't stop unless I switch it off then on again. Also, it's sort of heavy and doesn't run incredibly smoothly on your floor (I have a bad back so this is quite the game changer.) Gets dirty pretty soon. And it's not easy to clean. Bottom line: if this hadn't done such an outstanding job I'd probably return it and buy something more user-friendly, even if that meant spending more on it. I probably will. I have three children with a fourth on the way and two dogs. I would sweep and mop once a day and the floor would be filthy by the time everyone went to bed. This is so easy to grab and go around the kitchen and living room (small house). I will never go back to all that work I did before. The floors are always clean now just because it so easy to just grab and go. I use it like three to four times a day to pick up food and spills the kids make. My entire house has LVP floors. I had a Hoover Floormate that I was not fond of. The plastic bristles were not good for the floors, and it left everything very blotchy, unevenly cleaned and wet. The Crosswave is everything I hoped it would be. It cleans evenly, the suction is great, the roller is efficient yet gentle and it does the job easily. The fact that you can use it on your area rugs too - I mean, come on. Genius. It’s strangely enjoyable to use, too.
