Kudos to the photographer who took the picture of this product. It takes a great deal of skill to make a rag look like a crisply tufted AC cover. I want to hire them to take my next professional picture so I can look like George Clooney's better looking older brother.

I didn't expect much buying this cover so when my low expectations were still squashed I figured I'd warn people. You can buy this item if you simply want to cover an ac without and purpose of blocking wind or being functional at all. The draw strings that tighten this cover do not work at all. You pull them tight and they pull right back through the piece meant to hold them. This product is not even worth five dollars so I'm trying to save the next poor sap some money. This is the best cover I have bought to date. I measured my unit and made sure I got the correct size. Then when they came in I saw the have a whole in the bottom for the cord. I was so happy about this because that was my problem with past covers. They didn't have this and wouldn't fit right. After tightening the sides it fit perfectly. They they have the little extra cord to go around it and that made it fit even better. I'm very happy with this. ... show more

Forspark brand is excellent! 💯 (the Forspark is the brown one) Has a little give if needed due to sizing...looks neater...fits tighter...super easy and quick installation!!! The Cosfly brand ("beige" which as you can see is more white) was nice but doesn't fit nice and tight like the Forspark! I replaced them all with Forspark brand! Next day delivery too! I am satisfied with this purchase. I have a big AC in the kitchen that can’t be taken down. With these winter Chicago temps, I definitely needed something to cover it up with because that whole side of my apartment was freezing! I was pleased to see this came in brown because it matches the wood frame around the AC. It has definitely made a difference! I will say that the tie strings don’t tighten very well. However, I don’t think they really need to be tightened much more because it does a really good job as is. ... show more

    • Fit on my window AC well but immediately came apart at the seams

I have a small window AC in my small NYC apartment and I don't have the luxury to remove the AC and store it during the winter. For some reason, my exact AC size is not an option in the small cover sizes many sellers have available so I went with this one because it had an extra 1/2 inch in the depth. The great news - it fits very snug over the AC which is exactly what I wanted. Upon installation, I noticed a tiny thread (like 1 inch big) poking out from the top of the AC cover but didn't pay any attention to it because it's a thread and no biggie - right? Well.... about 6 hours later, I check on the cover/wanted to make sure it was blocking the frigid air coming in and to my surprise, exactly where that loose thread was, there was now a 6 inch hole along the top seam of the cover. Was super bummed that it didn't even make a whole day before I needed to gerry-rig the AC (aka use packaging tape to re-seal the seam). I didn't explore returning it because now that it's been a week, the hole is only where that loose thread was and did not expand to split even more. Still a bummer that the quality was not great and my attempt to have a "nice" AC cover, compared to unsuccessful macguyver options I've been crafting at home for years, only ended in yet again using 3M tape to solve the frigid draft in my bedroom. If you need a small AC unit, perhaps my contractor friend's suggestion of layering a towel over the unit and then using those big black contractor garbage bags to "seal it" is the better option vs buying this. ... show more

I read other reviews before purchasing and was nervous. However, READ INSTRUCTIONS and it works exactly as written. Perfect fit and super easy to install. NOTE: this covers the unit, but you will need to cover the sides and any place air moves for the winter season. I used good weather (clear) tape and weather blocker (clear) to totally surround the area not covered by this product. I installed 45 days ago and it’s done the job! Took approx 15 mins for all installation. Easy!! ... show more

I looked over so many reviews abs decided on this type for my wall a/c unit. Mine is on the small side, but since it has a drawstring inside and out it was easy to make it fit. Also, having the holes for a plug is a big plus. We’ve had several cold and or windy nights and this cover really helped, especially being that our room is on the north side of the house.
