    • Yes it fits 26x17" AC - *barely*.

My AC is not 25x18", it is 26x17", and nobody seemed to sell that size, (why?!) so I rolled the dice on this one. It *does* fit, but it's a struggle to get it on. The width fits great, and the height will work if you have strong fingers and a moment of patience with it. I needed to loosen the knots in the built-in elastic cord to squeeze a little extra length out of the perimeter. I just installed it, so I cannot speak to durability while pulled to its absolute limit. I expect it will last the rest of this winter at least - hopefully one or two more. ... show more

    • The covers do not stay on the unit well.
I use these in the winter when my a/c isn't in use to block the air and dirt that would pass through as I live in NYC. The main issue with these is that they do not stay on the unit easily. There is an elastic that runs the entire length and a cord stopper that you pull to keep it snug. This is not really a great solution. I usually end up taping it to make it stay on. ... show more

It's hard it keep our apartment warm in the colder months. Last yeast around this time our power bill was over 100$ just trying to keep it warm. Our bill is almost 1/3 of last year's for this time last year! There is only one down fall though the band it comes with it doesn't stay really tight to the ac but it does the job! ... show more
