I always buy hue lights. I first invested in them in 2020, and my bulbs from then still are going strong and I haven’t had to replace them yet. Even though Hue is expensive, they are worth the price.

These bulbs are great. If you know the Philips Hue ecosystem these fit right in with their other products. 5 stars, sure fine. I'm mainly writing this to warn others NOT TO PURCHASE the "used" bulbs, even if they are coming from Amazon. I've bought 3 of these that stated they were "used - very good" and coming from Amazon. Of those, 2 were swapped out with some random cheap bulb and the third was correct but broken and wouldn't turn on. I mean, I guess it's probably not news that you shouldn't buy used light bulbs, but in case anyone is wondering, it's not worth the hassle. Literally none of them have been what I ordered, and now I have to deal with a bunch of returns. ... show more

I hooked these into a screw-on fixture, fired up the app, searched found added, and grouped them into my house/room/setup within 5 mins. I never needed to reconfigure with already existing switches; it just WORKS! Update: On Prime Day, I picked up a Hue Play Sync; these lightbulbs play surprisingly well for effects on the sealing. It's a great product for the most part, I have over 10 Hue bulbs in my home but they do occasionally go out and when they do they are covered under a warranty but it's a difficult process to get a replacement. They require you to send the defective bulb back then once they receive it they will either send you a new one or a refund after a 2 week "processing time". Kinda a bummer having no bulb for 2+ weeks or buying a new one while you wait. Phillips makes quality products but their warranty service could definitely be improved. ... show more

My husband opened the package and had it set up before I got home. I connected my lights and noticed this bulb wasn't changing colors. It would give me shades of white. I had to return it. I ended up googling the bulb and top results landed me at some gamer website. The bulb from that site was correct and it works perfectly. These candelabras are not cheap but they are nice. Had these for about a month. Found Hue to be more reliable than LIFX bulbs in general, although LIFX have more saturation.
