So I replaced a Sony 720P TV that would just not die! It was 15 years old! So with that said of course the picture is awesome compared to that! Since we have a corner location I thought the curve would be kind of cool even though they are being phased out! So here are my two week thoughts: 1. I used a pedestal stand with the vesa mounts vs. the legs that come with it! 2. Set up was a breeze other than me fat fingering the wireless code. 3. All of our other TV's are LG so operating system is a little different but no problem. 4. We stream everything so it set up well and works great with all out apps. 5. I used the digital optical out to connect to my surround sound system and works great. 6. I bought a new DVD player that upscales and used the EARC HDMI connection and works great. 7. FYI the digital optical out works as well as the tv speakers at the same time. You just need to turn down the tv and use the surround systems remote! 8. I turned everything off in Eco Mode. 9. I turned off motion control. 10. Picture is great and brightness seems good! Easy to change in the menu! So if it is too bright it is easy to change to movie or film maker mode. 11. Being a VA panel some people complain about viewing angle I do not find that as a problem. 12 For the $$ this is an awesome set so far very happy with it...time will tell ... show more

I bought this TV back in May of this year, because I am SICK of everything being made in China and wanted something made with quality and not supporting a communist regime! I installed it in a screened patio in South Georgia and it is STILL working like brand new! The curve helps reduce glare and reflection, but not entirely. Sound can be a little weak based on the program using, but overall it is an awesome TV! The ONLY complaint I have is that the Samsung TV Plus Live feature does not have the "Timeshift" feature; as such, Live TV cannot be paused or rewound. No regrets! I would totally buy this TV again; in fact, I'm looking to replace my aging TCL with another Samsung in the near future. Still on the fence with this one? Use the generous return policy with Amazon if it doesn't live up to your expectation, but I think you're going to love it too! ... show more

Tv has been nothing but trouble since I have had it, I should have said something to Amazon a long time ago, tv came to my house with the ba k piece popped off, we tried to keep in place but it's loose and now it has stopped working no matter what I do, it will no longer connect to the wifi in my house when all other devices will I have contacted my internet provider he states it's not a internet issue it's the TV, so now I have a tv we cannot freakin use, it's useless ... show more

I just spent over an hour trying every way possible to open the back of the Remote TM2050 to change the batteries because I cannot turn on TV. IMPOSSIBLE! I ordered a new one hoping not to experience the same issue. Now no TV for a few days. Bummer.
