When I purchased these towels I did not realize that they would be so thin. I am not taking away any stars because it's my own fault for not fully reading the description but these towels are much like the microfiber towels you use to dry your car. Now although I was shocked by that I must say that I do like these towels I washed them once in the washer and hung dried them (I also wanted to mention that these dry really nicely outside in a shaded but warm area and don't get hard like some towels can) and there was no shedding like with cotton towels. These are thin and don't feel like thick bath towels but they're extremely absorbent. Now be aware that if you buy these towels they do not glide across your skin like cotton, it's more of a tap to dry method that works with these. These towels are extremely soft and have a lovely color that hasn't faded in several washes so far. I would definitely recommend these towels just make sure you're aware of the material unlike me, again I'm not unhappy with my purchase I'm actually quite happy and surprised at how much I like these. If you want a towel that dries you off quicker than most then look no further. It’s almost like being dried by a weird blanket. I can’t describe the feel but I hate it. I would use them again for travel though, as I take short showers in the military and need to get in and get out.
