  • Was it worth it? YES.
Color: Blue
If you're hesitant to try an electric bike, this bike is definitely worth the price for beginners or even avid cyclists curious about cheating. Not to mention the GREAT customer service/response time if anything goes wrong with your bike and its components. I was very hesitant to buy this and spent months contemplating if this purchase was worth it. So, was it..? The bike arrives with the front wheel and handlebars detached. Everything else is hooked up and ready to go! Should take a complete amateur no more than 2 hours to start riding and basic tools are also included for assembly. So don't bother with pricey in-store assembly unless you can afford it. I would, however, recommend taking it to a bike shop to double check your assembly once finished. You can learn lots about your new machine this way! Some quick tips for assembly include - • DON'T squeeze the left/front brake until the front wheel is properly inserted onto the front fork and big metal disc is inside the brake pads. •Compare your bike to the pictures on here and in your instructions to make sure your quick release lever is on the correct side. •Make sure you have the disc brakes on the same side for both front and back wheels and double check to tighten all the bolts you can with the tools given. YouTube common things to do when purchasing a new bike such as bedding the brakes and adjusting saddle for and aft before making your decision that this bike is not for you! Most common problems on these reviews are improper knowledge leading to improper performance such as squeaky brakes, wheel wobbles, etc. The bike itself is very fun to ride (and I mean VERY) and despite not upgrading any parts yet, everything feels pretty mid-high quality. Gear shifters are clicky and the mechanical disc brakes are a big upgrades from Walmart rubber brakes with much more stopping power when properly set. Wheels have nice tread and are more city slickers than off-road tires. They WILL slide in sand/loose dirt so no fun beach rides with this bike. The suspension is pretty basic but it's better than nothing for those rocky patches and potholes. Despite its weight, this bike CAN hop a bit too with some practice! The battery even locks onto the frame with a key for those daredevils out there. The grips and cockpit were all assembled neatly and even included a few plastic clips for organizing your brake/shift cables even further. The motor hums a bit but it's definitely a gearhead sound I've come to love. When you hit the throttle it roars just a bit to remind you who's really pulling the weight around here. And this bike IS weighty. If you're gonna transport it take extra precautions to protect the battery, drive train, and disc brakes as bending them will be nothing but bad news. The shifter and cassettes are Shimano brand and the motor is an MXUS brand rear hub. Same tires from the picture. I've reached a top speed of 20mph with the throttle and 19mph with max pedal assist and I can ride for way longer than a normal bike. If you put this sucker on low pedal assist and wander the town you can spend all DAY riding and not even feel tired. This bike makes you feel like a Tour de France competitor without the training or even breaking a sweat. I can ride for 30 minutes to work and it's like taking a walk to the mailbox. Maybe getting the mail is harder now that I think about it. So, all in all, if you're looking for an entry level electric bike and you're weary of dropping almost $700 on a "bike", this one is worth it. The Ancheer Orange Sunshine E-bike is leagues above whatever you're currently riding on. You're getting quality parts and a frame with suspension (albeit run of the mill). You're getting a 20mph-for-2-hours strong rechargeable/replaceable motor and battery. You're getting a really helpful customer service team that troubleshoots any issue you encounter. You're getting a stylish new way to explore the world around you. And most of all you're trying something you never have before and if you're anything like me, you're gonna wish you got one sooner. ... show more

  • (Updated feb 2021) Nice quality with one year warranty
Color: Blue
Ancheer 26” 350w Sunshine was delivered with care. Very well packaged and easy to assemble using the booklet supplied and YouTube videos. Base set up as received was almost perfect although the brake cable had to be removed and rerouted but was an easy fix. Overall quiet motor, very nice finish and once I replace the seat and install a riser bar for the handlebars it will be perfect. Bought from Speedrid seller. Rode 12 miles on my first outing and only used one bar of the four bars of power. Admittedly I used one gear and coasted for probably thirty percent of the ride but due to my physical condition that’s all I can manage. It was an absolute pleasure to get out and ride and not worry about hills. Update 2/28/2021 After several more rides (four to be precise) of distances varying from 9 miles to 15 miles I have noticed a few things. I too am hitting the bicycle stand with my foot when pedaling. I am clearly not an avid rider but find it happens when I become sloppy in my riding style, namely when i am tired. Not a fault of the bike but my riding style. I had to buy an extended riser for the handlebars to keep the riding position more upright. The cables were fine and needed no modifications. Padded gel seat too if you want to ride in reasonable comfort. I weigh 242lbs and 5feet 10 inches tall. This was the primary reason for buying an ebike. Exercise and lose weight. I use the third led position on pedal assist and only ever use THREE gears. The top three. This ebike is used on roads and bicycle paths, some with steep hills. I am amazed how easy it is to climb hills on this bike. I will update again once i have covered more miles. Update 4-28-2021 Have ridden the ebike at least a dozen times since purchase. Nothing has broken or fallen off. My longest ride was 19.97 miles and when I returned home I still had two full bars of power. Bear in mind that is on pedal assist only and the number 3 led position on pedal assist. Please note on position one led it does nothing. No help at all. Position 2 led gives a little help but honestly feels like your riding with the brakes on. Position 3 led is perfect for me. Still pedaling but getting the assist I need. Position 4 led is just way too much power for me. All in all I’m very happy with the purchase and had some wonderful rides. Bike paths etc. Speedrid was the seller and was pristine when it arrived in the box. The seller can make all the difference between a good buy and a bad buy. ... show more

  • Good entry level bike. Overall length too short.
Color: Blue
There's only a couple of things I don't like about this bike. This is the entry level bike which was $579 in black/orange. First, the good stuff: 1) very solid bike with a high quality beautiful paint job. 2) easy to put together, and pretty well tuned (gears, etc.). 3) powerful - I'm a light guy, but this thing gets up and goes. Also 'least assist' makes for easy pedaling. 4) I've ridden it quite a bit, and the battery lasts a long while. Now, the stuff I don't like (and kind of a warning when learning to ride). It's design stuff. 1) The bike is too short end-to-end. The front forks/wheel especially. The front tire is so close to the pedals that if you have your feet on the pedals with the pedals under your arch, if you turn too sharp the side of the front tire will hit the inside of your shoe. The bike either needs a longer front fork, or buy pedals with toe stops to keep your feet from sliding forward on the pedals. The rear forks could be extended a bit too. It's just to short front to back for my liking; but it's a great bike - lotsa fun! 2) The framebar the the seat inserts into should be longer in order that you can attach rear cargo racks, etc. to the frame and not the [weaker] bike seat post. Other than that, I give this bike very good marks for quality and strength and a joy to ride! ... show more
