It was time to move from our hand mixer to a stand mixer, and already owning a couple Dash products, we figured you can't go wrong with both Delish and Dash! The stand mixer is stylish, but more impressive is how powerful this machine is. Lightweight but extremely sturdy thanks to the suction cups on the bottom of the mixer. This product is good for the laxidasical baker, wanting to do things like simple cookies or muffins. I, however, was hoping/dreaming that this would work to make macarons which need meringue, and this little mixer could not incorporate egg whites the way that they needed. I think this would be perfect for a preteen or teenager, not good for someone who wants to do more serious or complicated baking. ... show more

Not a true stand mixer, but rather a hand mixer permanently attached to a standing base. Simple design that’s easy to use, but don’t expect to walk away and let it do the work. You have to manually manipulate the mixing bowl under the beaters. The beaters have flat, sharp edges, so I don’t recommend letting the kids lick them. Ouch! Strong suction cup feet hold the unit secure on most surfaces, which is good because unit is very top heavy. Nice large mixing bowl and dough hooks included. ... show more
