  • Great intake fan
Style: Single
Both fans are connected using one wire to the motherboard/rgb Helps keeps wiring management simple. Not a fan when it's spinning in the mid- low rpm, makes a mild vibrating type of sound

  • Big and Quiet

Although probably not intended to be used for a CPU cooler fan, I wanted a thick and quiet RGB fan and this does the job well! Prepare to take a trip to the hardware store to get the extra lengthy screws but worth the trip. I put this on top of an ID Cooling IS-55 CPU cooler and it keeps the Ryzen 5700X very cool and quiet! Temps don’t exceed 74C in stress tests @ 50% fan speed. ... show more

These were obviously installed. I could see thread marks in some of the holes. Also half the screws were missing along with the small fan to fan bridge connectors. I did however get a tun of extra wiring and they're in new cosmetic condition aside from the screw holes. Going to keep them to avoid hassle, hopefully they work when I plug them into an upcoming build. ... show more

  • Whale Mating Season
Style: 3 Pack, incl. Controller
I got the 3-pack ARGB version, and quite frankly, this is not a good product. When I first saw the product description, I thought it was everything I needed. I wanted halo ARGB PWM fans that weren't too loud and were convenient to setup with standard connections. I did some research, but I couldn't find anything about this specific product. I did, however, see some good things online about the non-ARGB version. I assumed that the ARGB version would be the same product - just with ARGBs. I was wrong. Let me be loud and clear: this is not the same product as the non-ARGB Arctic BioniX P120. In order to make room for the ARGB halo in the frame, they had to shrink the fan itself... and in order compensate for the cooling lost, they installed a more powerful motor and had it spin faster. It's basically smaller and louder, or In other words, a worse fan. Despite all of that, however, I still could have tolerated the product given the aesthetic, if not for one absolute deal breaker. The RESONANCE. Oh god, that sound will haunt my nightmares. If you've ever had Arctic fans or read up about them, you'll likely read about the resonance. Basically, most of Arctic's fans have a specific RPM where they start making a resonating humming noise - and it sounds exactly like the calls a whale makes underwater. Typically, Arctic fans are notorious for resonating at a specific speed - around 1000 RPM. As long as you tune that particular speed out in fan settings, you don't have to worry about it. However... The ARGB version of the BioniX P120 does not have one specific resonating RPM. This thing resonates ALL OVER THE PLACE. Pretty much at every couple hundred RPMs, it resonates. It's impossible to find a RPM level with 0 resonance; the best you can do is find a low point between two resonance points. And god forbid the fans need to ramp up and run through all of the resonating frequencies one by one... It's whale central, baby. Or an army of Wookies having an orgy. At first, I thought my set was defective. There's no way a well known product from such a popular company like Arctic (I love their P12s and their AIOs) could be this bad with no one's ever saying anything about it online. I tested each fan individually, hoping to find the broken fan. All 3 of them did it. Maybe I had a bad batch. I requested an exchange from Amazon, which ultimately gave me a sample size of 6 fans (2 sets of 3) that I tested individually. EVERY SINGLE ONE was like this. It's just a horribly flawed design. I'm guessing Amazon lumps the reviews for all of the versions of the product available on this page, so the regular BioniX P120 must be pretty decent to have so many good reviews... but make no mistake: the ARGB version is no bueno. Maybe some people like their PCs sounding like sci-fi warp engines when they power up, but if that's not you, look elsewhere. I'm personally going to be sending these back and picking up a set of P12 ARGB's instead, which are fantastic. ... show more

  • Will Not Buy This Brand Again
Style: Single
Started making a noise after less than a month. Contacted their customer support and created a ticket and heard absolutely nothing back. I will not be buying this brand again. Would return to Amazon if I could, but I live abroad so it would cost more in shipping.

  • Beware: Shorted out my entire AIO Pump Unit
Style: 3 Pack, incl. Controller
These looked cool enough and were a suitable candidate to put on a non-RGB AIO pump/radiator, especially according to some YouTube reviews and other reviews on here. However, upon installing them none of the fans spun up, one of them had no RGB, and to make matters worse, the entire pump and fan control unit died and now I'm out of pocket for a brand new AIO cooler. Thanks Arctic! ... show more

  • Missing Parts
Style: 3 Pack, incl. Controller
Will update the rating after I see how the missing screw issue is handled. Og course the 12 screws holding the current fans in place are about an eighth of an inch too short. Was hoping to give a good review but you can't review what you can not use

  • These are great for some people's cases, not so much for mine.
Style: 3 Pack, incl. Controller
These fans are insanely good for people who value high airflow over acoustic nonsense (Though even at full tilt I can not hear them inside my case whatsoever) but I must state plainly that for people whose case does not have a glass/plexiglass front panel to smash these fans against these are not quite so good. I have an O-11 Dynamic XL and there is no place for me to put these fans as the only way I can see the RGB ring is in the exhaust configuration, (With the ring facing in to the case) using them as bottom or side intake smashes the RGB against the panel which you can't see on the inside of the case. This seems like a fundamental oversight by Arctic, (as this fad of smashing fans against a front panel is years behind us) which deeply saddens me as I have bought numerous products of theirs as I believe them to be the best company for case air cooling overall aside Noctua, who I do not have the deep deep pockets to enumerate all my 10 case slots with for very little uplift in case air pressure. The primary reason I purchased these fans over numerous other options such as those by Lian Li is the static pressure coefficient, which I value over aesthetics greatly personally. But the only way I was able to mount these fans was in the top and rear exhaust configuration, and due to the relative dimness after the LEDs shine through the diffusion strip (This is a good thing to me if it were mountable in intake configuration with the ring facing into the case) the actual effect this makes in my case is very little as you can not view them directly. If Arctic were to make this product but with the diffused LEDs on the opposite end (the exhaust side) I would very much be more than happy to buy another two 3-pack sets to mount on the bottom and side intakes for my case, otherwise I am forced to go to Lian Li for the ST120s, which come with a more useful controller in general and are much cheaper. The 6-year warranty offered in absolutely astounding as I can't imagine with my fans in continuous operation as I require them to be they would all 3 outlast this period, if they do then hats off to Arctic. Now let's talk about the colors; the white is absolutely superb due to the diffusion being excellent on this strip, most whites without a seperate white LED does not come out very well and will be green or blue hued, this does not suffer from this issue and the result is somewhere between 4000k and 5000k spectrum just like you would have in a light bulb. The number of LEDs is fine but I feel like it could've been 6-8 more and resulted in a better effect overall, especially for brightness snobs. (of which I am not a member) The rest of the spectrum is up-to-snuff with all of my other RGB or surpasses it, yellow is fantastic compared to my Phanteks RGBs, no green tint at all. Orange is absolutely superb and stands out in my case as being the best representation of orange I have ever personally seen in RGB case lighting. On to the controller : I love that this is included but dislike it largely for a number of reasons, first off why does this not come with a cable that splits off from the 8-pin to other 3-pin heads in order to chain other RGB strips into it? This would greatly increase perceived value from my standpoint as not enough people sell good ARGB controllers for a reasonable amount of money that will work with the standard 3-pin daisy-chain most companies use. This locks down this controller to only be useful for the Arctic ecosystem which consists of the one product... this hurts Arctic more than it helps them in this current level of development for their 8-Pin ecosystem, which I like but it shouldn't be a lock and key to prevent you from mixing other brands in with theirs. If they would sell an accessory pack of cables to improve the diversity of function for the controller I would definitely purchase it without hesitation. In conclusion : The fans themselves are an amazing value proposition on the face of their static pressure against Noctua alternatives, while at the same time having greater max rotational velocity. The controller can only be used with the provided fans which saddens me as if this were not the case I would be forced to add a star to my review, the cables included should've been more diverse and allow you to convert the 8-pin to 3-pin for tethering other RGB items (that a purchaser would certainly have) in to the included controller. The colors this is able to reproduce are astounding for this being Arctic's first foray into RGB and far exceeded my expectations, if you have an Orange or Yellow case color scheme (especially with cablemod cables) then these will work great for you. Weighted against other RGB fan alternatives these far exceed the competition in cooling capacity which I value more than anything, and if you have a plexiglass/tempered glass front panel this should overcome the impedence of flow with ease at full tilt unlike most RGB fans when sandwiched against a front panel. ... show more
