Assembling the tractor was pretty easy. Ours had some damage to a non structural cover on the bottom of the tractor I noticed while I was putting it together, the box was pretty beat up by the time we got it. I messaged the seller and they credited us a decent amount I was pretty pleased with. So it definitely made up for any dissatisfaction from the damage. A friend told me about how the gear boxes strip out pretty easy on these kids ride on toys. So I pulled the boxes apart during assembly, which was like 6-7 phillips screws so it was super easy. Get inside and there is the tiniest slathering of super thin lube acrosse the gear faces. So I got a tub of grease and packed the entire gear box as full as I could get it. Lowers the wear on the gears and reduces heat, which for plastic gears is ideal. Will it help long term? It should. Will I know? Well not since I did it at step 1 but it made me feel good. We got the upgraded eva tire model and from the pictures I thought the tires would be rubber, which they are not. They are still softer than the hard plastic tires that come on others but not exactly what I felt like the picture showed. We haven't got a whole lot of run time on it yet so I can't say how they will hold up long term. The turning radius of the tractor is pretty wide, which is somewhat strange for a kids toy that clearly will have an inexperienced driver that isn't quite ready to to 37 point turn abouts to get turned around. The bluetooth feature is neat, a little odd I'd say. The lights are cool and bright. The taillights are non functional which is a bummer. The pedal has a decent delay from the time you press it, to it making the contact, and then the motor response. But it's just something the rider will get used to. I can't say much about battery life as my two year old is still working on figuring out driving and his attention span is a wee bit short. The remote is neat. I probably enjoy driving it with remote more at this point. But the remote is super lightweight and feels very cheap. Probably will be first thing to break. It seems like a good machine for the money overall. On the gear shifter it says retreat instead of reverse. I also had a friend make stickers for the hood so it looks like one of grandpa's tractors. ... show more

We have two young grandchildren (22 months and 24 months old) so we purchased this tractor to entertain these two when they come to visit. The tractor was delivered by Fedex much quicker than scheduled and came well packaged. Assembly was rather straightforward but the instructions need to be reviewed and updated especially the part about wheel attachments. There are washers that must be installed but the instructions are somewhat lacking in their locations. The battery came fully charged so the tractor was ready to use as soon as it’s assembled. I plugged in the charger just to make sure and the charging light switched from red to green in about 15 minutes indicating full charge was achieved. I noticed that the actual battery is a standard sealed lead acid battery type 6FM7 which is mounted in a special restraining carrier that snaps together. This means that when the battery wears out it can be easily swapped out. Our 22 month old granddaughter came over today and spent the day with us. After being quite shy at first she eventually warmed to the idea of riding in the wagon. This changed after about 5 minutes when I stopped the tractor and she then jumped right onto the driver’s seat ready to have a go. The Bluetooth remote control worked flawlessly. I drove the granddaughter around for about an hour when it came time to take a nap. I recharged the battery during lunch and nap time. After her nap the granddaughter couldn’t wait to go back outside to drive the tractor some more. Eventually the granddaughter learned to push down on the foot pedal to make the tractor go. I continued to steer the tractor via the remote while she applied the “gas”. The tractor worked remarkably well and we noticed no wheel slippage (grass was dry) and our yard is quite uneven. Even when she was riding in the wagon there was no wheel slippage. As some have commented, the seat belt is really nonfunctional. It is too long and not enough adjustment leeway. It best serves the purpose of teaching the need to “buckle up” so when the little ones grow up and start driving their own vehicles. All in all this tractor seems to be an excellent investment for our purposes. It will serve our two grandchildren quite well. The media could not be loaded. My mom bought pink and green tractors for my kids to ride on her farm (almost 6 and almost 2) for Christmas. Oh my gosh, they were such a hit! We bought my daughter a pink ride on jeep for our home and it is total JUNK. The battery is awful, acceleration is spotty, the wheels have no traction, and plastic pieces fall off randomly. These tractors are the total opposite. Pros: -Seatbelt buckles -Parent remotes don’t get crossed -Battery life is fantastic. The kids got worn out before the batteries did! -Upgraded tires have excellent traction, even in wet grass. HIGHLY recommend those tires. -They are actually really fast! We kept it in 1st (slower) for my son, but my daughter was zipping around in full speed. -Sounds are awesome Cons: -They are a little small for a 5-6 year old, but still totally functional! -Hard to reverse with the trailer on. We took off the trailer on my son’s tractor to make it easier to drive him around. (Pro: super easy to add/remove) -My son was able to push the accelerator to make it go while I was using the parent remote. I wish it had “remote vs. manual modes” so he couldn’t control any of it while the remote is in use. Such a great purchase! I hated going home to our lame jeep after playing with these over the weekend. ... show more
