I ordered this MacBook to see me through college next year. I was going to use something called Back Market that sells only refurbished tech, but my bank kept saying it was a fraud alert every time I checked out. I decided to order a refurbished Mac from Amazon instead. I stumbled across this one & it was roughly the same price I was going to pay on Back Market (but cheaper, Back Market fees and shipping is no joke). This Macbook arrived EARLY. I had trouble getting it shipped to my house because I work really early mornings to really late nights & they needed someone to sign for it. I contacted TekBoost and they had the problem fixed the next day! I just picked it up from FedEx and the condition was immaculate. The only thing I was kind of confused about is the fact that the charger box for the Macbook is bent ever so slightly (just enough that it was a hassle to plug in). I managed to bend it back and it works perfectly! All the accessories that came with the Macbook are Apple. It came with a heavy duty charging block (seriously, the things huge definitely has some weight on it), a charging cord (a pretty good length, too), and obviously the Macbook. I just purchased the MacBook Pro (renewed), and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and capabilities. This laptop is an absolute powerhouse, and it has exceeded all of my expectations in terms of speed, reliability, and overall user experience. First and foremost, this laptop is NEW, it came with an Apple charger and what is seems to be an Apple cable, the display is stunning, the performance is outstanding, the Intel Core i5 processor coupled with 16GB RAM ensures that I can tackle any task without experiencing any lag or slowdown; battery life is impressive as well, however this may vary depending on usage, but overall it's reliable and long-lasting. Then, one of the best things is the price, for $800 it is definitely worth the investment!     • Computer looked band new.
The computer came in looking like new. I was delighted, especially after reading a couple of previous reviews. I did have trouble transferring my outer Mac's information over to this one, but that was due to my needing to update the operating system. I just backed up to a startup drive, which downloaded quickly on the new system. I did have trouble with a couple of USB-C ports not working to charge the computer. I reset the SMC, which fixed the problem. Once the charging issue was resolved, everything worked great. I only gave 4 stars because the charger, as others have said, is aftermarket. That would have been ok with me, but the charger works intermittently. The first night I had the computer, you could hear it binging each time the charger went out and came back on. Fortunately, I had my other Mac's charger available, which worked perfectly. Also, the battery life could be better. The cycle count shows 110 left versus 1000 for a new Mac. ... show more

Was so excited for it to come in, it came in and the battery was faulty, Sent it back out to the company just for them to send a second faulty one that battery didnt work and when went to update it the screen went gray and it refused to turn on, waiting on the 3rd hoping this one actually works. (Update, the three i recieved all had 3 bad batteries would not reccommend this company as they stated they inspect them all and then shipped out 3 bad macbooks and stated i was lyting "We truly did check this unit over and I specifically told them to check for the battery issue, my Warehouse Manager confirmed the battery was in great shape; we are not sure why this issue is occurring." ... show more

it is in such good condition, no dust under the keys, no scratches, no screen burn it, I'm starting to think this was just left over stock and is a brand new computer I cant even tell its renewed, had to take it apart when i saw the battery was at 0 cycles and it is a genuine apple battery. 10/10 will recomend for someone who still wants an intel macbook in 2024 runs fast, batter is about 5 hours on normal use so can get you through the day just fine if you manage it right. ... show more
