I purchased this 6 foot tree in black to use as a Halloween tree and my husband & I are THRILLED with it. I went back and forth for several days trying to choose between this one and another that was about $10 more. Because we couldn't decide I finally went with the less expensive one and I have no regrets. The tree was easy to assemble, didn't take terribly long to fluff, is a beautiful deep black shade, has minimal shedding during assembly and is taller than we anticipated. We measured it and with the stand it's a solid 6.9 ft. I loaded it with lights and decorations from the dollar and craft store, made my own bow for the top and we're just delighted with it! After Halloween we're switching out the decorations to create a Harvest theme and then at Christmas it's going in my husband's area of the house and will become his Sci-Fi tree for all of his Star Trek, Doctor Who and Star Wars ornaments. This is a beautiful tree. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble it on my own. I packed it away and will bring it out for Halloween to decorate and then change it to Christmas decor in December. It is well made. I hated to take it down last year as it was so beautiful. Well worth the cost!

Easy for a person alone to assemble. Had a sticky feeling when spreading out the branches, but Iโ€™m sure it was the coloring that made it feel like that. Also had a weird smell to it. But again, Iโ€™m sure it was from the coloring. Itโ€™s kinda hard to tell that itโ€™s black until youโ€™ve got regular lighting on it. But I absolutely loved it ... show more
