  • Research before you buy so you know what the hell your talking about
Alot of these review's are from the customer not paying attention to what this is!!!! Shouldn't give bad reviews for your own mess up LOOK if your going to buy a 400$ vr headset you better do some research before coming to the conclusion that it's the product You get what you get The whole fb thing like y'all know you can disable that right? Smh had to get to 2 pages just to find good reviews that are about the product not someone failing to recognize what they just bought End of rant Thank you Btw I love my quest 2 have over 500+ hours on it and it does what I ask Great product ... show more

  • Best investment
Awesome investment! I’ve always wanted something different besides the average game console, AND I FOUND IT! Huge difference In game play between Xbox, PlayStation etc. If you’ve never tried VR DO IT, it’s awesome. For the price the quality, and on top of all that, it’s mobile! Worth the money.. I think the only complaint I have is the battery only gives you about 45-1.5 hours of play time, so I had to purchase an external battery pac for it. Also when you have been on it for quite some time it does start to get a little warm/hot and does start glitching or freezing while on a game or whatever you may be doing at the time. other that that it’s a super buy. ... show more

  • Requires a Facebook account yikes. Don't buy if you value privacy
The device will require a Facebook account. There are a few ways around it but you will forever need to stay in offline mode to avoid updating the device. Don't buy it if you value your privacy. If you want to do this, I recommend manually sideloading apps and only allowing the device to access Lan and block outgoing connections to the internet. Otherwise...the device has great locomotion controls (even with most cameras blocked) it will interpolate your controller's location. View clarity is slightly better than a pimax 5k XR but the fov is limited to a small box. Not innovative compared to pimax or valve (index) headsets. Battery life is okay, it will last about 3 hours. Make sure you shut it down otherwise experimental Bluetooth devices will continuously wake it up. ... show more

  • Quest 2 is incredible BUT....
I adore the Quest 2 for what it does: makes vr accessible to anyone and everyone without needing an expensive setup or even a huge amount of space. The in-headset barriers you setup each time you use to stop you from punching your TV and desk and etc (if you give a cushion past your barrier) because it's so hard to ignore a wall in your face. ***BIGGEST COMPLAINT*** a good few times during each session due to what I figure are the motion tracking mini cameras around the headset, my "hands" seem to just float away from me for a few 3 to 5 seconds at a time. Obviously a huge issue for games like beat saber or some fighting games. A quick loss. They snap back to you after a small bit but I can't figure out how to prevent that from happening even with good lighting and cleaning the cameras. But for as cheap and versatile as this headset is I don't think that unsells this product. The controllers eat AAA batteries and although a wonderful rechargeable option exists through anker the ability to recharge your controllers has existed for a decade or so now so why on earth wouldn't this come equipped with that functionality? (I guess going back to full in 3 seconds by changing batteries is a minor plus but idk.) ... show more

  • Fun, but it may break your skin out !
Great product. Fun. Daughter loves it. But we don’t like how it makes her face break out. Just heard there was a recall for the foam piece that touches to your face and forehead. But ours isn’t included in the serial numbers, go figure. Bought a silicone cover for it but that didn’t fit right and blocked the sensor. I gave that cover a real bad review. ... show more

  • It is getting better
Didn’t think it was the best fit for children originally though content and platform seems to be getting a lot better now, some scary content like dead bodies in 3D that might not be suggestible for younger audiences, also psychologist might confuse paintings and inkblots after seeing some of this content ... show more

  • Highly recommend
I've been shopping around for VR headsets to start playing some VR games on steam. The Oculus however is a much better solution though in my opinion. Portable, cheaper than pc VR headsets, wireless. I'm not big into facebook but this is the one thing that's good from facebook lol.
