My four year old loves it. The train isn’t designed for rough kids but my little guy gets it. Beautifully crafted, fun noises, lights up nicely. Worth the move up from the chintzy toy stuff.

    • Easy to Assemble, Fun to Use!
The media could not be loaded. A very nice Lionel train set. Easy to put together, but you do need to watch the rail pins to be sure they are lined up correctly. Track stays firmly together. It's nice that modern tracks come with the rails on a track bed. Makes it easy to use on carpet. While I gave it 5 stars because I really do like the train, it's not perfect. The remote doesn't always connect on the first try. Also, it's rather noisy. You can control the audio volume of the sound effects, but to get it loud enough to hear over the mechanical noise it's rather loud. I bought to put around the Christmas tree next year, but got it out to play with the Grandkids. It's an enjoyable train that brought back memories from my own childhood.
